The 65-Civ Mod!

Drunk monks wha...? (We definitely need them in j/k)

Hmm... good q. I've always prefered 3d like Civ.Army but then again that takes a lot of time so really it depends on how much time do you have on your hands. If you have a lot, go for 3d. If you dont have that much spare time do generic ones. Or you can also choose to do a mix of 3d and generic.

65 civs are great, but we are forgeting the one most importent civ,
the MOOPS! MOOPS!!

I don't have a lot of time on my hands. I will probably use generic ones at this point.
The MOOPS are not in, although that was one of the best episode of Seinfeld ever.

Probably off topic: I received a religious vision reading this thread. Let me bring myself into the mode, and tell you what i see... Ah there, resting on top of the Shapeless, foggily illuminated by the Holy Light, i see a slightly deformed earth map four thousand years before our civ-specific Zero of Time. Ah see, in this world, oh mah, lo and behold!, the map is almost completely covered with capitol territories! Ah see... ah...

Uh, "the mode" was stupid, and more importantly, difficult, so here goes again, in a more profane way: (rolling the dice for Skill of Explaining) How about as a measure for which civs to include the aim of covering the entire earth with capitols? So that everywhere is as cramped as Europe! This would probably make a strange but actionpacked and fun game. You would have to use a map with a somewhat unproportionately large Europe... I guess the history of this this kind of world will be a lot different from the actual History (meaning that the aborigines or whatever might rise to rule the world or something). But Civ couldnt be realistic -- that would be too controversial for commerce.

That brings me to the 2nd suggestion: How about FIRST listing all the "important enough" civs, THEN shaping the map to fit your selection! You could call it Ethnocentriciv... :rotfl:

Please let me know if anything like these two ideas have been done. Im new to fanatics.

Right now this is a mod on a random map. So we don't have to worry about scenario 1 happening. If I would do a scenario, it would have the European countries in a later age than the native civs.
The second idea has pretty much already been done.

Okay, I will do Octavian this weekend, but now we need to decide on a second leader for Greece.
Any ideas? I can think of none at the current time, although after my exam on Thursday, I'm sure I'll be able to name a couple.;)

yeah, he's a good one, started Democracy sort-of. Had a bunch of good laws like Hammurabi.
The other ones I've found so far are Spartan military leaders.

Argammenon? and the whole death mask, and war in troy..

More people need to post,
Next Civ with second leader needed,
Mali
That's going to be a hard one.
