The Biggest, Baddest Unit

Wait. The version I already have on pre-order has Cradle of Civilization: Asia map pack, but not figurines. The figurines version does not come with the map pack. I want an all-inclusive version that has EVERYTHING. All the goodies being made available through the various purchase portals.

There are no versions, which have everything.
there are 3 versions:
- basic
- Special (retail, with figurines)
- Deluxe (online, with Babylon)

All the other boni are dependend on the shop.
So there's also only one version with the figurines, but you can order it from different shops to get a different preorder bonus.

Come on. Civ has never been realistic by any stretch of the imagination. It's always sacrificed realism whenever it made something more fun/interesting. This is no exception.

This just seems somewhat... egregious.

I hate signing in.

This is completely stupid and makes me wonder what over stupid ideas are in game. These units cannot out perform tanks. Where in an age where size doesnt freaking matter, so what the hell is the point in a giant metal walking man.

Coupled with high system specs and ******** units, puts me off.

No worries. There will probably be a mod supplying a REAL future era. I bet someone will make that mod as soon as the game gets out. A REAL future era with real, realistic future weapon systems instead of laughable cartoon robots. Until that mod, I really hope those of us who don't like the idea of the transformers taking over Civ's end era, can choose to stop the game at any chosen period.

High system specs? You don't even need a graphics card! How low could you possibly want them? :dubious:

Next time look after yourself and don't do things you hate. It's not good for you.

It's quite simple really. Fusion reactors, of course take, enormous quantities of energy to start (and restart during periodic maintenance), fission reactions are the only viable source for that power.

As of now, I'm sure there will be more ways in the future.

You're saying that like radioactivity in weapons is a bad thing :)

Well who wants to get into their giant death robot, have one bullet shot at them, and die of radiation poisoning from the leak the bullet made?

If your going to put a future unit in at least balance it with others.

Greg said this was an official part of the game and should be balanced so hopefully a modder can mod something to take its place.

Contradiction Alert!
Well if you take it out of context it is. I meant if they put one future unit they should balance it with others. It should already be balanced with non-future units.

How so very sad of you, I don't know if I should laugh or cry...

"aziantuntija doesnt like transformesrs "

That doesnt look very mature so perhaps you should try laughing (and not take this too serious) ;)

And it's funny how you ignored the rest of this post:

Well it is very funny that i posted this..

If mechs are in base game, i propably want a option to stop going further in technology at the era that i choose. I might want to try them out but i definetly would like the option that i told.

..three times in this thread before you noticed it and after that you said this:

Yes, the post you posted () IN ANOTHER THREAD, in which I didn't participate or abandoned it, who knows, I don't keep track.

So yes you are right it is very hilarious

Once again, this is not the "worst thing that can happen" that Firaxis decided to inlude transformers in civ game. I just said i dont like that thing in my civ game and as Le Sage said there is no point of raising hell because of that.

Anyone who doesn't like GDRs hates fun.

I don't play civ for fun. I want more micromanagement. I want my civ experience to be like a second job. ;)

i am at the moment wondering if the GDR is just slapped on at the end of the modern era, being an awesome unit that requires uranium, or if there is a future era at the end of the tech tree, with GDR's and high tech tanks, gunships, planes, ships, and infantry.

Which is best? (the couple of folks who hate GDR's and sci-fi, you needn't respond i already know your opinion, but that porabably won't stop you ;))

It makes me wonder if a Giant Monster isn't actually on the cards. Say if you a nuclear meltdown or leak at a power station maypbe Godzilla appears and has to fight the GDR or doom. Or maybe not.

The GDR will be fun but might get old and tired after a few games.
