Now, these are the kind of buildings that you hope never actually get built, because it would mean that something somewhere has gone very wrong indeed, but all the better for it. :D

Also, more realistically, Le Corbusier's design for the Palace of the Soviets was much more interesting than the ridiculous thing that they actually picked (but, thank Christ, never actually built):

Although given how Mussolini designed his headquarters...
