Above is a Cherwel, one of the native population of Cherwyn, which was later colonized by the Verthommes, invaded by the Tenoderan Superorganism, settled by Fudirunins, then established as the Capital World of the Galactic Republic.

Colossal, gas giant-dwelling predators which can grow to sizes of a kilometre long and greater, the Choon view eating, taking and mating as essentially the same process. While they are nearly incapable of external communication, they possess diverse internal mental worlds, often comprised of several distinct individuals who have been consumed by the primary organism.
