Die Penguin Scum! Iggy can be blue team, I'm red team :backstab:

:D

Upon thinking about it (read: compelling arguments by other people), I'd also like to change my vote from space to a continuation of the NES as it is right now.

Slow the NES down, get a second moderator, reduce the quality a bit, heck, do all of these, just continue LINESII on in its glory.

actually, after some thought, toss my vote for the space NES to continuation of the current NES.

these are *bleah* peaceful Interventionists. I can not see of anyway of getting rid of them once we invite them onto our planet, or Letting us OFF of it once do establish peace. first sign of conflict in space, we get slaped down and placed under protective custody.

there are several other variants that might work, but I'm being optimistic here. the next two most likely are puppeteers, in which case we are complearlt and utterly $#%#%. Or Merchants, in which case, we are going to indebted to them for near forever, and a source of slaves. and these are the good Scenarios I can come up with.
Well, I had a plan which would ensure that our nations got intact into space in a realistic manner despite these alien helpers.

I'm disturbed how many people voted for that option.:p

It seems that the people have spoken. LINESII will continue and reach space in its own time. I'll lower the quality and try to get back to weekly updates (in order to advance faster).

Just a note, we're already in the technological equivalent of the Medieval Age, I just didn't feel that calling it that was quite right (Medieval is a term used to describe a dark time in Europe. There is apparently none of that in LINESII).

I'll start a new thread on Friday, do awards, and we'll resume this NES. We can agree that everything after JD's statement did not take place.

I think a lot of us wouldn't mind a slow updating schedule if you kept the quality up. But it's your choice!

Seriously, you don't have to write so much. Spend all that time writing a real novella or something, you might win a prize. >_>

I see the dual moderator idea was pretty much rejected...oh well. I may be a know-nothing lurker, but I say quality is better, far better, than speed of update.

The problem is I do not want wait 2 or 3 weeks for each update. Plus, it is really hard on the mod. His updates are amazing as it is. It is not like they will be terrible if lowers quality. They will still be great.

Iggy, I am glad you made the right decision :).

The idea, Nylan, is that I don't want to spend a ton of time updating. High-quality updates require that.

While I'm at this, I'd like to make a 1 PM limit on orders.

Impossible you say? Take the nation description out of your stats, or don't spend so much time elaborating.

Kal sends me great orders (IMO). He doesn't go into minute details, just gives me the campaigns and I have his generals make the logical choices. So if you want to know how to send orders in 1 PM, ask him.

Iggy, you should also limit yourself. If the update is approaching 10 pages in word, its time to finish up.

You can do it!

cool, Its decided.

on that note, any Idea when we can expect awards for this round? might as well wrap it up so we can wait for the next round.
Tommorow

Everyone, go to the while we wait thread to make predictions.

If I ever get to the point where my orders actually take 1 whole PM, I'd be amazed at how much I'd grown. :]

Aryie expects a reward! "The Runt State of Bladeism"! Har har.

Don't worry Iggy, I'll keep sending you my short short orders, which are "a breath of fresh air". :]

At this rate everyone will get awards :). I do not mind at all...

Croyodon does not really qualify for any rewards except messing up massively on the diplomatic front :p.

So are we going to do a BT into the next thread?

No. I quite dislike BTs. Possibly long ITs, but their length varies depending on the amount of warfare that turn.

Damn.

*sigh* Well, I guess there goes my prodding Gorin into attacking the Citadel. While I extremely hate the idea behind it- the Citadel whould have to just about genocide everyone to get us to live happily with each other- you're the mod. Its your decision.

Nevertheless, unless you decide to just continue it from the last update, I'm going to have to drop out. Truely, only my odd-love for this nes has kept me in it this long :).

EDIT: Sigh. I didn't even get to comment :(. Oh well. I guess I'll stay in the fight......

Oh wait, this is the thread.

I should go to sleep.

Anyway, we're striking the proposed actions of the Citadel from the canon of LINESII, and I'm starting the new thread soon.

I begin building Magland and you pop this up. You had better go with the lower quality updates....or else.
