The "I Got A New Game!" Thread

I remember playing Anno 1404 with Venice expansion for 17 hours straight. It keeps warning you have you been playing to long, do you want to exist

I don't see why anyone would play a game like Anno for something other than campaign.

I played the free-build, but if it's really that good I may take a look at the campaign.

do you want to exist

yes I do

I recently acquired Ace Of Spades , a Minecraft-style FPS in which you can mine and build things out of colored blocks (with no specific properties, unlike Minecraft (so far)) and also possess a rifle with 50 bullets and two grenades.

It's VERY fun, to my surprise. I've spent at least 3 hours on it since yesterday.

I downloaded it, but couldn't get it to work.

Ah, I jumped into a game as a Green the other day..

Then trolled everyone by deliberately not fighting and instead wasting my time building a mountainside christian chapel.

I think it turned out rather nicely. It had purple flooring and everything.

Finding a working server is HELL though

I don't know why every single one is not working today :\

Oh and a quick edit, I should tell you all that Ace of Spades is free.

Typing error sry about that :crazyeye:

aha, you can use this site to find the newest beta servers :D

Recommend for use when the ace-spades site hasn't caught up yet.

At the moment, iammorthor is actually behind the times, but it helped me connect to a beta 0.31 server last night.

I bought Splinter Cell Conviction for my Mac. I like it, but its also very frustrating. I'm above the minimum requirements, but not at the preferred and it shows. I'm having to use all low graphics settings and its still a bit laggy. It can be very frustrating during combat. Heck, I have to play rookie level and I'm still dying. Not sure what else to do to make it run better.

Search "Game Booster" on google. Should be closing down some programs that are unneeded when playing video games. :D

Watching a BBC documentary "Indochina", Marines putting ace of spades in dead Vietcong soldiers and installing the game!

i currently played Swords and Sandals 1 to 4 but 3 and 4 wasnt even as good as 1 and 2 were been, but Swords Sandals Crusader was also funny finishing very very soon

and installed Battleslots rpg

Casino PC game publisher Phantom EFX has jumped into the recently popular RPG-hybrid space with Battle Slots, an upcoming title that blends RPG elements with slot machine gameplay.

The game features over 100 locations, more than 200 quests, and a "magical slot machine" that replaces the typical match-three puzzles you see in RPG/puzzler hybrids. Here, spinning the machine determines your mana, attacks, summons, and more.

As you earn money in battles, you can upgrade buildings in your village (to increase the strength of your allies) and expand your zoo (filled with beasts that have unique spells and abilities). This sounds like it has a lot more depth than your typical slot machine game!

Battle Slots will release for Windows some time this year, and Phantom EFX is considering PSN and XBLA ports, too. You can preorder the PC version before March 31, you can get it with a 20 percent discount off its standard $19.99 price.

I loved that game. I can't help with the Mac setup / configuration aspect of it, but if you need any help with specific areas of the game or just general hints or tips, I might be able to provide some assistance.

On my end, I just picked up Brink for my Xbox 360 the other day. It's not your usual FPS, and it sucks in solo play (the AI bots need work) but with 3-7 friends on your team, it's wicked fun. A lot of people are gonna hate it, but that tends to be the case with games that break the stanard mold. PrinceScamp & SimonL - don't bother with this one. ;)
