The "I Got A New Game!" Thread

I never played Demons' Souls. It was never ported to pc.

I should remind you that this is a port, and maybe not a very good one. A community patch is necessary to get higher resolutions and the frame-rate is capped at 30 frames/s. Windows Live is also necessary.

I don't mind those things though. It's still both stable and good. ..if you don't mind playing with a handheld controller ..or dying a lot.

There's also a pretty strange multiplayer feature in the game allowing you to invade or get invaded by other player. The only instance where I've experienced this so far was by getting stabbed in the back while fiddling with my equipment.

Ah yes. Invasions in Dark Souls. Always lots of fun.

Oddly enough I don't have as many problems with bosses as I did at the start. In comparison, the tutorial-boss gave me a much harder time than one of the later ones in the game.

Is a good game though. Recommended for people who feel most games nowadays are not challenging enough for them.

Oddly? So skill progression for both you and your character are nonexistant?

Did so a month back for 49.99$ on Greenmangaming ... It`s gonna be epic. ... ... Except I also got Guild Wars 2, which is eating all my game time.

Would you be interested in some co-op?

Like I said, I don't know how much free time I will have between this, Guild Wars 2, my table top gaming activities and my job. But sure maybe.

I just find it hard to co-op in these games because it seems hard to keep on the same level of progression unless you actually dedicate your character to the co-op with the other person.

Just picked up FTL. It's very fun, and definitely worth your money.

Just downloaded and played Black Mesa just the other day (All you need is just Source SDK 2007 to play it).

I purchased the Torchlight II 4-pack. I gifted one to fellow CFCer Lord_Iggy and he returned the favor with a copy of FTL. So two new games in a day. :D

I got Borderlands 2.

If I get the time, I'll write up a review about it :p.

I don't want a review. I want your opinion on it in a few sentences. That's what this thread is for (and gloating about how big your Steam Sale budget is).

I got Borderlands 2.

I want so very badly to be you right now, my copy shipped today and the estimated delivery date is Monday, although in the past, I've gotten packages sooner than expected.

Yeah, I just took advantage of this deal posted on reddit on Sunday evening where, for a few hours, Green Man Gaming was offering a Borderlands 2 preorder (Steam direct download) for $36.

It's been fun so far, we have a #nes group going (me, Kraznaya, Crezth, and Matt), and we're messing around a lot.
