The "I Got A New Game!" Thread

Picked up Torchlight, Dustforce, Shatter, Rochard, SPAZ and something else in HIB 6

Dustforce is pretty awesome, kind of reminds me of a platformer version of Guitar Hero in terms of coordination, but I'm not graceful enough :(

What about SPAZ? It's a game I have considered acquiring myself.

It's pretty awesome. Only played roughly an hour so far though. It's kind of like a less-ambitious Starfarer with more polish (because it's done, obviously :p)

Lots of humor.

SPAZ is good, although there's really no 'flight model' nor much sense of Newtonian physics.

FTL remains tons of fun... the two things I wish for are slightly more quest diversity, and the ability to rename new crewmembers.

Yeah there's a lot of nice bundles going on right now, or about to start. I'd probably endorse this one for Torchlight + SPAZ, except I got it and the other games in the bundle are kind of blah.

Dustforce looked like a clever Shinobi clone imho.

If these activate on Steam, can they be gifted?

For those people who wanted the most ridiculous fictional version of Sengoku or the Sanguo period (Three Kingdoms). I recommend picking up Warriors Orochi 3. It's not only a decent game, but who wouldn't want to play as a girl that literally kills people by playing a flute, or an Achilles that is so focused on blood revenge. I got it for $20, a little pricey for me, but I was willing to drop $20 based on what i've read of it.

After passing gameplay and replayability assessments, purchase of Borderlands 2 for the Xbox 360 has been approved.

Picked up Gratuitous Space Battles, Bit.Trip Runner, Wizorb and Jamestown from added value to HIB6 :)

It most certainly is good. So far I've built a fleet of giant cruisers with two layers of shielding, plenty of armor, and four long-range plasma guns per ship - they're pretty tough to crack.

Haha, sounds like the Dynasty Warriors franchise! (Or are we talking about the same game?) I have fond memories of playing DW 3 and 4 as a kid. The series was very conducive to my compulsion to 100% games.

I've heard great things about Dynasty Warriors. Which game would be the best starting point and what should I avoid? I don't really want to play all of them due to other stuff.
