The hurricanes still have a chance. They did well to beat the brumbies at home. I go for all the NZ teams really.

But lets not get into an asylum seeking arguement.
No, the ones in Curtin where the detainees literally knock themselves out under the mistaken impression that someone actually cares, and then are put back in solitary.

f*ck this whole ANZAC thing is bullsh*t.
Its like 'wahooo! we managed to kill a bunch of Aussies and Kiwis coz we landed them on the wrong beach, lets remember that every year, and lets say that is 'heroic' and 'glorious' to be slaughtered like that.
War Sucks.

You casually insult the memory of thousands of young men, some no older than you, who fought bravely and died in order for you to swan about to punk concerts and insult all and sundry. Your freedom was bought with their blood and their sacrifice.

How true. If the Galipoli expedition hadn't been mounted we'd all be speaking Turkish by now![]()
You know what I mean, I would hope. We acknowledge the sacrifice of all our fighting men and women, in every conflict. This includes those who fought and served at Gallipoli, in Palestine, in France, in New Guinea, in North Africa, in the Pacific, in Korea, in Vietnam, in the air, on and under the sea, in East Timor and even now in Afghanistan and elsewhere. The pointlessness of the campaign does nothing to detract from their sacrifice, nor from why they went. This is what is worthy of respect and rememberance.
