If anyone has a good argument against it, they have yet, in 3 years of arguing the subject, not bothered to present it. The only claim the opponents have which has not been exhaustively refuted is that there could be more R&D without single payer because everything is so much more expensive that there's much more money to siphon off for said R&D.

I find it funny that people are against paying taxes for healthcare yet they probably pay the insurance companies the same amount or maybe more and a lot of it goes to the administrative costs.
Just think of it as paying money to punish lazy people.

Not necessarily as laziness is not a disease, you could easily be in much more danger for getting ill in like an environment with a lot of people (places not near your bed). Or get hit by a car. Staying in bed and being lazy might be the safest place in the world (unless your bed is in Chernobyl).

There was once an article about US health care in Helsingin Sanomat (the best newspaper in the world), that was pretty amazing. It said for example that "According to the OECD the public health care of the US costs 20% more per capita than Finnish with the private health care included". That means Americans don't pay the same amount to insurance companies, they pay even more in taxes for their already existing public health care.

Can anyone help me, I have a Geforce 9600M GS 512MB videocard on my laptop with hybrid SLI power. I downloaded the latest driver for this video card being 266.58 for notebooks. Still everytime I start up my computer I have to switch it on standby mode and back to be able to get a response for my password and everytime I try to enable the Hybrid SLI it just does nothing, or goes blank....
Please help!
