I like him. As you know.

I don't see why you don't. If you don't. I'm not sure. You might be joking.

The first election after I turned 18 was the 2004 Presidential election. I registered and voted ASAP. Problem is, 8 years later, I forgot which political party I identified myself with. How do I find out?
*Ahem.*

Answers, please. :trouble:

aren't your only choices repub and dem/...and you can't remember which one it was ?

There ARE more than two parties on the ballots in the US (Green, Libertarian, etc). :)

Yeah you worthless too. What have you done on this forum other then almost 8,000 posts? Go get a job and a life..... not.

Come on now, it's possible to post a lot and still have a life. Plotinus, for example, is an author and academic with a wife who's done some mod-work for Civ3 and has a metric buttload of posts, some of which are absurdly long, as well as a moderator and administrator.

True, but I don't care. (No offense to Plotinus, but I don't know the guy).

Mister Syn is heading off to university next September and has hit a brick wall that his future university's site doesn't seem to be providing answers for. Google has provided nothing as well, so I'm going to assume that I am simply missing the obvious answer and thus I decided that coming here would be a good choice as there are plenty of experienced people who have gone to university in Ontario and also around the world for what I'm hoping to do.

You see, I am hoping to go to university for a Bachelor's degree major in English literature, a minor in Philosophy, and a teacher's certification. Long story short, I wish to become a teacher but don't know what I should do.

To note, I have not looked at the application forms whatsoever yet as it's only the end of October and I was told that they open applications only in March 2013 for the Fall semester. Perhaps my answer would be found in there, but rather than sleuth for a long time looking for a response, here I am.

Is anyone else in Ontario (or Canada, really) experienced with beginning this type of program? I looked at the site and it says that you can get your BEd along with your undergraduate degree at the same time, getting you your certification at the same time, rounding out to be a five year program. Is this clearly depicted in the admission form?

If not, what steps do I need to take to make this happen? Any person I have spoken to has given me a shrug of the shoulders in response and I am in no position to go out of my way and get a meeting with an admissions consultant at the university (the broke life is pretty nice).

Thank you for any assistance that may be provided.

Is there anyone with enough knowledge of geological features to help me create a fictional map?

What or Who is Honey Boo Boo, and why do I keep hearing so much about it/him/her?

It seems like every other article on CNN.com is about Honey Boo Boo, yes I could actually click the article, but I won't. :) I'll just ask here instead. And yes I could look it up on Wikipedia, but I doubt I'll get as many snarky and humorous replies that way.

A little girl from America that has been ruined by a mentally unstable mother and father. Originally from Toddlers & Tiaras, her family was deemed special enough to have their own show.

@ Mister Syn: can't you just phone/email the university and ask them about it?

Presumably, but I'd like my first impression to their establishment to not be me coming across like a dimwitted fool, so instead I'm opting to appear like one on a massive public forum.

As long as you have looked through their website and application forms thoroughly and absorb a fair bit of info about them, calling or emailing them for more information would show that you are seriously interested in your academic future and in studying there and willing to put in the effort to find out more.

Now come on man, you are the one who regularly asks whether we are impressed over your 100th, 200th, 500th post etc
Got nothing else to say.

Some rednecks who need to go back into whatever bathroom they crawled out of.

As long as you have done research (ie: can list what pages you have looked at) a call won't make you look dumb. If anything, the Acceptance Office won't even know you called.

If you registered to vote in a primary with a major political party you may be able to have them trace back registration rolls, I can't imagine this being worth the time required to do it, and results will vary by who you speak with and whatever state party system you are dealing with. I suppose you could call one of them and ask if your registration is active and if you are properly allowed to vote in their party primary - this would be thrown off if you live in a state that has open primaries.

If what you want to know is who you voted for on the actual ballot, well, it's a secret ballot. Presumably those records do not exist unless you maintained them yourself.
