@Mr. B: Thanks. I know you sent your PM and tried your best, but those two links are appreciated as well. The second one is of interest, and I'll check it out.

@Camikaze: Thanks! This is nice, too. Doesn't quite fill the Dutch hole though. ;) It's along the same line of silliness, though the Dutch song isn't high pitched.

Does anyone here know anything about the University of Cincinatti? I'm interested in going there and I was curious what the intellectuals here thought of the university. ANyone gone there or familiar with it? If it's helpful, I'm primarily interested in architecture.

Question to our British friends:
I'm doing a paper for PoliSci where I am comparing public approval of trade unions in America and the UK between 1980 and now. While I am finding several polling places for America, I am at a loss for the UK. What are the major UK polling groups I can go to, and any other info you guys have?

You could try these people - MORI used to be a reliable name in the polling industry.

There's nothing random about me - even my oddities are highly ordered!

Can Chinese citizens who come to the US to study get a visa to escape political persecution if they have >1 kid?

Or is even 1 kid enough for a visa (re: anchor baby)?

I hope to god they all get visas and a path to citizenship (in case someone mistakes this as some way to bait an anti-immigrant argument out of the answer to my question).

I was curious because last night at a Christmas dinner, my wife's coworkers were talking about one of their students.

His parents are Chinese and all of the Chinese children they have had in the classes at HeadStart had chinese first names. However, this little boy is named Jimmy and everyone thinks it odd that they'd name him that. Over the course of the conversation, someone said Jimmy has a little sister and that got me wondering if they named him Jimmy because they aren't going back.

Which in turn made me wonder if they could go back if they wanted to.

I think they could, but there are repercussions for violating that law that directly impact your ability to get a job.

What is it with Mobboss and Formaldehyde?

For months I have been watching them tear chunks out of each other (figuratively) with hardly a clue why.

Are they really only one person?

Are they an old married couple?

Are they secretly in denial about their feelings for each other?

Quick! To the shipmobile! Mobby-Form forever!

Where's the Poll? :thumbsup::thumbsdown:

That's very tempting. But half-way through starting a new thread, I began to wonder about the ethics of such a poll.

They are, in fact, an old married couple.
