The Many Tribes of Polynesia

Good that we're restarting, the last starting position sucked. Also, because I was the only member of the Moli tribe I am moving to the Manu tribe.

You realise we can't start until we have one person from each tribe?

Is it not the rule that once confirmed in a tribe one cannot forsake his choice for another; or is that merely in effect after the initiation of the game itself?

If so then Save_Ferris would still remain a Moli as he would be unable to change according to such a directive.

I’ll join Kolah

As long as we kill tons of stuffs! :mwaha:

It was originally intended for that rule to only apply after the initiation of the game, however I think your point is better, sorry Save_Ferris, but the Oni has still influence in this game!

The Kohola Tribe welcomes your coming.:)

We shall slay the enemy as the time demands:mischief:

I'll take his place in the Moli tribe. So he can join into the other one. Either way, I join the Moli.

This is the section that should be changed.

Assassination Attempts
Citizens may attempt to assassinate the High Chief of their city. The odds of the attempt succeeding depend on the relative influence of the High Chief and the Assassin. A military unit garrisoned in the city protects the High Chief and reduces the chance of success. If the assassination attempt is successful, the High Chief is killed. If unsuccessful, the would-be assassin is captured and executed.
Spoiler Will my assassination attempt succeed? :
The outcome of the attempt will be determined by random number. The odds of success are Assassin’s influence / (Assassins influence + High Chief’s Influence + Garrisoned Unit Strength). For assassination attempts use the local influence of High Chief and Assassin as whole numbers.

Political Coups
Citizens may also try to remove their city’s High Chief through a political coup. Any number of citizens in the city may support the coup. The odds of the coup succeeding depends on the total influence of participants of the coup, and the total influence of citizens who support the High Chief. Any members of the High Chief’s tribe automatically support the High Chief. A military unit garrisoned in the city supports the High Chief. If the coup is successful, the High Chief is ousted and killed. If unsuccessful, the leader of the coup (participant with the highest influence) is captured and executed.
Spoiler Will a coup succeed? :
The outcome of a coup attempt will be determined by random number. The odds of success are (Particpants’s influence) / (Participants influence + High Chief’s Supporter’s Influence + Garrisoned Unit Strength). For coup attempts use the local influence of High Chief and the participants as whole numbers.

I presume the proposed changes are according to the suggestions for Yahzuks future game after the conclusion of the CoE game?

Hello all,
I've read a bit in the Children of the Emperor thread, and it sounds quite fun! So I'd like to join this game, specifically the Manu tribe (the dice dictated this choice).
Didn't see myself in the tribes list, so I thought I'd quote myself ;)

I'm aaaaaal alone :D

Ehm... Okay, join the L'a tribe, we have cookie... Oh, wait a second... Join the L'a Tribe, we will invent cookies!

Welcome to the Kohola tribe Prospo :D

Primitive propoganda, there are far more superior methods of gathering new recruits to a tribe, as the numbers suggest.
