India is no longer a member of the League of Mutual Co-Prosperity.
Obviously, the leaders of India are unsatisfied with their current alliance and partners, and thus feel the need to establish their own alliance. We wish them well, but they are no longer part of the League's mutual defensive alliance.
Hawai'i retains its military access rights to Indian air bases, however, unless the Indian government revokes them.

“Excellent, Captain,” the Grand Moff Jiaan Terjerrod replied crisply, “Whenever you’re ready.”
Glancing down at his notes, Captain Yularen began, “Well, sir, tensions between the Hawai’ians- our allies & the leader of the League of Mutual Co-Prosperity- and the UDPRK & the PRX have erupted over whether or not the UN was justified in passing resolution #4 last year.”
“And how far have the PRX & the UDPRK gone?” The Grand Moff asks, with a dangerous glint in his eyes.
“Not that far, sir, but far enough; thus far, the despite their viewpoints, the UDPRK has been conducting diplomacy reasonably. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Xinjiang, who has threatened War with Hawai’i several times.”
The Grand Moff sighs while massaging his forehead with his left hand. “Why must Christos Xianjang persist in his foolish crusade? That warmonger is a stain of the history of humanity.”
“Oh, it gets worse, sir- or better, depending on how you look at it. In response to Xinjiang’s policies, a new terrorist organization known only as the Scarlet Lancers, led by an enigmatic being that the government of Xinjiang has dubbed ‘Thorvald of Lym’- but who calls herself the ‘Red Lotus’- has publically declared his intentions to bring down the PRX. Here is the full transcript of the speech he made on international radio earlier, sir,” said Captain Yularen as he hands the Grand Moff the document containing the announcement.
“Hmm,” ruminated the Grand Moff as he read through the papers, “While it is clear the Scarlet Lancers represent a clear threat, I do not think the 501st Legion has cause to fear them. Now, I believe the Captain of the Pathfinder I mentioned a new aircraft that has been sighted in the skies around the Korean peninsula?”
“Ah,” said Yularen as he flipped through his notes, “Yes. It appears to be some form of super long-range bomber. Unfortunately, we have little to go on. The Koreans have developed some kind of electronic device designed to interfere with radar & targeting systems. The only reason we were able to get any information at all was due to the experimental cloaking penetrator that our vessels were outfitted with.”
“And what of the league?” inquired the Grand Moff.
“Yes. The League. Well, I have good news & bad news about the league. First, the bad news.” Yularen takes a deep breath before continuing, “India has left; it is possible they intend to join the Warsaw Pact of Neutral Nations. On the positive side, the Republic of Coruscant has joined us.”
“Well, not every diplomatic venture will experience total success…” Mused the Grand Moff. “Thank you, Captain. I have no further need of you for now; return to the Trailblazer III.”
“Yes, sir.”

First off, GM Rendall has dissolved the Upper and Lower Soviet; in the early beginnings of his speech, the public nearly rioted, before he reached the truly amazing aspect of what he was saying; he was replacing them with a single entity - the Duma. Unlike the Upper Soviet (the one with most of the real legislative power), all representatives of the Duma would be elected by the people, "to serve the people and the [sic] state equally." The nearly-rioting populace cheered greatly at that; for once, perhaps, they would have their own way; they could choose their own leaders, for better or worse.
GM Rendall stated that each incorporated Angolan province would have 2 representatives - deputies - and all client states would be able to send one observer to all Duma meetings.
The second part of his speech is, in most people's opinion, what shocked Angolan citizens the most; it was announced that, as soon as the Duma formed, they would elect a new Grand Marshal, and Rendall would step down. "All Grand Marshals [sic], from this point forward, until another great change befalls our government, shall serve a term no longer than ten years."
"People of my wonderful nation; people that I have served daily, for nigh on six years now, to keep you safe. And, these past few years... I have failed. The Takrur blockade is strangling our nation, and whilst our glorious Korean brothers have intervened, as well as our dear Crusader friends, over two-hundred thousand Angolan lives have been lost. With the intervention of Korea, a shaky peace has been brokered. Takrur has accepted the agreement de facto, and both sides have lifted their blockades. Will peace reign over the Atlantic, or is this just an armistice for twenty years?
==Finnish Civil War==
With both sides virtually equally matched, the Finnish Army charges into combat. Finland's armies, however, are better trained, if fewer in number. What the rebels have going for them is the urban combat bonus and the defender bonus, that is, +20% to the odds; both sides' militaristic bonus nullifies the other.
Finland's 3 navies go against the Rebels' 2. It's a 50/50 shot either way...
7. Finland loses 1 fleet and the the rebels lose 2.
Now it's for the actual battle; the Finnish rebels are blockaded and will be in a dire situation come next turn if they don't get aid!
Finland, amazingly, loses the battle! They do inflict 34 losses, however. Free Finland inflicts 46 losses, destroying the ENTIRE Finnish army!
In total, the Finnish Civil War has killed 460,000 Finnish state losses and 340,000 rebel losses.
7 Finnish provinces fall, and 20,000 people are killed in the chaos.
The rebels steal some of Finland's treasury in the process, with which they amass an air force.
Neither side wants to risk an air blockade, so it continues as a stalemate...

1: If one can be successful while one lives in a ditch, there is inequality. We meant no disrespect, and were trying to calm Xinjiang. It is hard being a communist nation in this world, Coruscant. We've built what we have from less than nothing - no vaults, just survivors in the wastes. And sometimes, it seems like the non-communist nations are trying to take everything from us because they think we're monsters. We don't want to be allied with Xinjiang - ever. But we have to be or we will stand alone against those who wish to wipe out our culture.
2: If there can be people who acquire enough money and connections to make it hard for the average citizen to prosecute them for crimes, then those with many goats can oppress those with few. It is good that you don't use a lot of force - that is what brings down States.

SR Multinational is a new multinational corporation which offers Banking for any nation of the world that wishes to partake. SR Multinational, however, is not in the business of sponsoring covert actions on behalf of any government of even for our own benefit. As a side benefit, we also offer protection in the form of our Private Security firms.
Banking
SR Multinational will keep track of all deposits in an Excel file. We offer Trial Member and Member Circle Accounts*. There is a $3 withdrawal fee. The excellent thing about all our accounts is that you don't have to worry about Agent theft, like you would with national vaults.
Trial Member: Trial Member Accounts are compounded yearly at 4% interest rounded down. Loan interest is rounded up.
Member Circle: Must open at least one branch. Interest is compounded yearly at 4% interest rounded up. Loan interest is rounded down.
Branches/Security
Each of our branches produces a unified command structure that is useful is handling the branch's, and the nation's, security and espionage worries. To join the Member Circle, you must establish at least once branch which is a one time cost of $15.
1.) The more branches you have, the larger the percentage of SRMN Agents that will protect your nation if it's attacked by hostile foreign agents.
2.) The more branches built, the more agents created each turn.
3.) The system is flexible.
Loans
Nations may contact us privately and ask for a loan. The interest rate, by default, is 6% (minimum $1 per turn). Failure to pay back the loan in a timely fashion will lead to seizure of your account.
[*] By opening an account, you accept that SR Multinational may refuse to allow you to withdraw more than 50% of your account in a single year.
