I would like to make one announcement regarding this NES. Should a move go forward, A Brave New World will be hosted on Strategic Command Center, not on CFC. If it's just a link like many are saying, then there is no need for concern. Otherwise, I'm taking this elsewhere.

You wouldn't even have to change the URL, as has already been pointed out numerous times. We'd still have forum ID #69.

I still don't see why it'd have to be moved just because we moved around on the forum list.

I'm a ornery conservative at heart. I don't like change. Plus, with the problems with the easy uploading system, there's really no more advantages to having NESes on CFC. My other main concern would be that the NES would be overrun with people who don't bother to read the backgrounds or take any care in diplomacy or otherwise. Amirsan has always been a big fan of NESes, and if i see the raging horde heading here, i'm picking up and moving.

Of course it's a lot of ifs, and we'll just have to wait and see what happens, won't we?

If the worst comes to be, I suppose SCC really could be a good reserve. Though from what I have seem of its NES forum, it is pretty primitive at the moment. Then again, that would be incentive to be develop it further.

We still have a direct link from the Civ3 Stories & Tales subforum. Also, you can kick out whoever you don't like...you still reserve that right. I personally don't think the horde will be as bad as originally speculated.

I'm personally not going to SCC Let's just say that it does not impress me. CFC still holds the advantage is forum activity, NESer experience, and its just a matter of taste but...the aesthetics of this forum. Not to mention the last time I was there, SCC crashed for a few months.
