The NOTW Information Thread

Some NotW games aren't based around FFH at all!!

That's true...I've been inspired to get on the ball with this. I recycled and cleaned up my original introduction e-mail and mapped out some roles. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll be down in two weeks (midterms and general busyness :s)

Well, in the list of games in development, we have several who just came up with the idea and several who are MIA, so who knows who's next?

Methos and Winston Hughes, what are the statuses of your respective games? j6 and I could probably have ours up within 2 weeks, but j6 also has an MNOTW that's pretty much set to go when Diamondeye's game ends.

As I said a page or two ago, my NotW has gone back to the drawing board, but I have a MNotW which is virtually ready to go. However, I have some RL stuff coming up in the next few weeks which is going to keep me away for several days at a time, so I won't be able to start until the beginning of May at the earliest.

Also, I think we need to avoid having a NotW and a MNotW starting around the same time. The original arrangement was to have the MNotW start a few weeks into the NotW, giving preference to players who are dead in the main game (or who never joined it in the first place), which worked out quite nicely.

I agree. The brevity of XXXI and XXXII has thrown off the timing a little bit. Methos, how close is your game to being ready to go?

I've done a little more work on mine and j6's, and j6 and I might be able to post sign-ups soon. I have a big week in RL coming up, so the game wouldn't start till probably the 25th, but we could have sign-ups within the week, and start then.

Well, I've decided to start writing down some ideas for a next full NOTW: Come Hell or High Water.

It's far off but I wouldn't mind hosting a game again somewhere in the future.

Well I do have that experimental mafia game which just needs character backstories (I'm not much of a creative writer I think) but the skeleton is there. Perhaps ppl would consider playing that? It's set in Sicily and is semi-humorous....

EDIT: It's not as complex as a full notw game but more complex than a simple mafia game.
