Just on principle, I refuse to watch any live-action adaptations of anything.

This reminds me of the Dragonball film though. Apparently, it's not a hoax!

ugh I won't be seeing that. Hopefully the project collapses so millions of people's only impression of Cowboy Bebop won't be stained with terrible acting

Japanese voice actors are much better than english ones. plus you have to wait for a show to be licensed and dubbed which takes years if it ever gets done at all.

for anyone whose ever seen it I recommend watching the abridged version of it on youtube it was hilarious.

Agree, although English voice actors are still better than some. Some dubbed versions in other languages makes you want to throw yourself down a well. :cringe:

Really, almost nothing is better when dubbed.

Toradora! is great; definitely worth watching. I'm currently watching it fansubbed. :)

The main guy looks like a delinquent, according to other characters, because of his eyes; though in truth he's quite the opposite to that. :yup:

He's the 'househusband' of the duo - he can cook well, do all the housework and is a fanatic at cleaning just about anything.

He can even sew up breast props for Taiga. :lol:

Keanu Reeves? No, it just doesn't work, he is incapable of playing such a character. It's a casting disaster, really. He lacks the capacity to portray the right attitude, he just can't act like Spike Spiegel. I do not know how I could be more clear about this.

And isn't this a tad dated? I loved the show but I was under the impression that others, like me, have had their fun and moved on.
 
Cowboy Bepop is ranked in the top tier of anime for all time, typically, so it's not exactly dated. GiTS might be more deserving o' course.
 
Might have to get into the Bebop, never looked into it before. Broused the DVD case enough times.

One of the things that worries me about the live action movies is the music. I would hate to hear some limp bisket or nickback song during say the opening biker chase sene in Akira. The music in Akira and GitS really fit the movie, you can't replace it with pop music ,which we all know Hollywood will, and have the same effect


Oh and I prefer subbed, but not cause of the bad english dubbing but because there seems to be like only 5 english voice actors, gets annoying listening to the same 5 people in every anime
