The "OMG! Look what happened in DoC!" Thread

Carthage's cothon seems a bit overcrowded with galleys.

I find it's really easy to get the AI to propose some real odd deals they'd never agree to if you proposed them by just... putting random stuff in trade and asking what they'd give you for it.

I thought civs in Golden Ages were immune to collapse. Apparently, not if the GA starts in the same turn...

Collapse is actually one turn delayed from its actual cause for various reasons.

Do you think I can put that on my resume?

From one of my failed Portugal test games. What an unfortunate China respawn. The Mongols weren't dead so they didn't get anything outside of their core.

Hi, I only had time to look at the forum again these days.

But of course, yes, Leo. I think it would be really cool, maybe cut the notification box from the image.

If there were a category in the Nobel Prize, for games/game MODs, DoC would definitely deserve to receive one of these awards. It's simply incredible what the old CIV4 game has managed to become with mods that recreate the history of the world (with Rhye's and Fall and now with its spiritual successor DoC). An incredible work, which has given many of us here on the forum countless hours of joy, worthy of receiving a Nobel Prize.
