After the Romans and before the Spanish, Holy Rome and France there was a European Tamil empire... Also the Catholic split from Orthodox was an usual one, I began the game as Persia and on a whim decided to swap over to Byzantine empire, apparently Catholicism spread over in Anatolia while Romans in Italy remained Orthodox.

You think that's weird? I once saw Tamils control Constantinople...

I prefer 4 cities in Spain (Oviedo, Valencia (the silver I move with wbuilder), Cordoba and Lisbon).

Found this during a Canadian autoplay test. Not only is Spain the Aragonese Empire, it's also super powerful and has an interesting city placement.

@Leoreth, perhaps aqueducts should require a hill or mountain in the city radius? Shouldn't be too hard for the vast majority of cities to qualify, but it'd eliminate rogue aqueducts, and fit the history better as well.

Well, romans built acqueducts to bring fresh water in places very far from hills or mountains.
Maybe aqueducts cannot be allowed in small islands.
