I love it when my forge burns down the turn after I build it and I need to spend 50% of the treasury to rebuld it. Random events were a mistake.

I haven't bothered suggesting it because I know it would be a good bit of work but I would genuinely love an option to turn off events in this mod... Some genuinely get under my skin (like a supposed volcano in the Alps flattening 3-4 mature Towns).

That event seems way too common at least in BTS (and DoC), to the point where if in vanilla BTS where most map types don't have a lot of peaks, I actively try to put a different improvement on a tile near a peak, even if a cottage would be optimal

For some reason Portugal really loves to go to Newfoundland and Labrador. It might have to do with the European AI trying to send their caravels as west as they can do, and since the carrack is a caravel with cargo slots...

That's a good theory. Can you check the UNITAI_* type of the carrack up there?

It was an autoplay autosave so its been overwritten. However I can say that I've seen settlers end up in EXPLORE_SEA Carracks plenty of times in the past and were similarly dumped off and marooned on some oddball tile.
