Is there a way to add a Christmas hat onto my avatar without photoshop or some other expensive image editing software? I only have paint.

Ask someone that has a photo editing program to do it for you. :mischief:

GIMP is like a poor man's photoshop. There's a link to a free download here under "GRAPHICS". I have it but I haven't the skill to do much with it.

I gave a shot at it with paint. I doesn't look that good though.

@ Bigfoot: Thanks. I'll download it and give it a shot if I have time.

I want an avatar...what should it be?

How about a badass Viking?

Is anyone using the christmas design for the forum?

Asking that about "Europeans" is like asking "do brown primates arrange their hair?". :p There're too many kinds of primates to generalize.

I did take it for one year, which coincidentally was the year I skipped in highschool. My GF who's at a Philology Highschool studied it for 5 years.
(in other words, is in the 5th year of studying it which happens to be the last year of highschool)
A philology school? That's cool.
I did five years of Latin, but only two were compulsory, and that was specific to my school.
Rossiya: University of Warwick is best because it is attended by me! :D Non-Britainers (nice term BTW) probably don't know how to pronounce 'Warwick' though.

University College London is probably held in reasonably high regard, although perhaps not as high as Lamebridge.
Bristol is well-regarded too, but not internationally famous. Warwick is respected for maths and little else as far as I know.
An eyeball.
Pics?

They are very common here. :)

It's not a special school for that, but one of the "specializations" in a non-scientific school (here highschools are usually divided in "real" and "human" schools - the "real" category handling sciences and anything exact or quantifiable, like maths, statistics, physics, while the "human" one handles art, culture, languages, religion, etc).

Some highschools have both categories, "real" and "human" but those, AFAIK, are rare. I've been kind of isolated, being in a music highschool since I was 6, so I can't know exactly what percentage have sections in both categories, but I think most are just in one of those.

Is the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy a good source for all topics philosophy-wise?

Come on, somebody must know about it.

I have a new question though. Who are those puppets on Cheezy's avatar? I've seen them somewhere else and the name was mentioned, but I forgot to look them up.
