The Ultimate Map Thread

Oh, hey, me too. It helped a little on Kraz's map work. I've got the Twentieth Century one as well. :D
 
I actually have no idea where I even acquired that Atlas or remember why it was scanned. I just saw it on my computer and figured someone could possibly use it at some point.
 
Eww, I still have no idea what you have done to the coastlines..

Here is the map from EU3. I tried to make all the borders completely black so you can fill in the provinces easily, but it just made the borders look chunky.

edit: updated the map with replacing a bunch of white-like pixels that aren't exactly white so they speckle when you try to fill in the provinces
edit2: fixed a misplaced Lake Ontario
 
But you spent ages working on it.. doing what?
 
Does anyone have a map with just the super nations of earth and the rest with no borders? Or, say, just divided into regions?

In the 1912 map, Romania has too much of Dobruja and the Turks shouldn't still have Kars.

Better or worse?
 
Romania is much better, but the Russo-Turkish border is still a bit off - should look like it does in this map.

Just color the sea white. save as black and white bmp, save again as full color bmp, save as png and recolor the sea.
 
I've been able to create a much more refined map using a different method:

edit: I've instantly noticed a couple errors, fix them later.
 
Japan is misshapen, but that's my only complaint.
