The Ultimate Map Thread

Anyone have a map with cities starting at the Korean War.

Can anyone here draw fantasy maps? cause if my NES converts to my rpworld The Five Planes i might need one drawn... (im not good at drawing maps)

best fantasy maps i ever saw where made by vruchten... but i think they are a lot of work.

If you would make me a map ninja, it would be Aw-E Some =) but whoddya mean with outline? text guildeline or a raw sketch?

Both pretty much. If you want me to make one from scratch, I could. Or I could just follow instructions you give me or work off of a rough sketch. Either one is fine.

Okay... will give you a PM when i have them prepared =)
Thanks again =)

An entry in the historical maps series: here's January 1, 1950. Lemme know if there's any egregious errors. :)

Spoiler 1.1.50 :

In regards to Eritrea:
"The British continued to administer the territory under a UN Mandate until 1951 when Eritrea was federated with Ethiopia as per UN resolution 390(A) adopted in December 1950; the resolution was adopted in the absence of any form of consultation with the people of Eritrea."

Also you don't have Gibraltar as British. And while you included Hong Kong and Macao, you don't have Portuguese India.

The map is clearly dated as 1.1.50, which can mean either January 1, 1951 (day/month/year) or... January 1, 1951 (month/day/year).

Valid complaints! :D

Meh, it's been edited since then and I haven't reposted it. :p Gibraltar is too small, IIRC, to show up on the map; the comment's been made before, for other ones. Since this map was made for a non-NESing purpose, some color disputes were hashed out by other parties, and those other parties decided that Eritrea was to be as it was but that apparently the same rules wouldn't apply to Libya. No, I don't get it either.

Bombshoo's Mostly Useless Maps

I am "Cleaning house" so to speak, and I figured I'd upload some old maps before they are lost forever.

Large Caribbean Map. Edited and cleaned up from a Wikipedia map. It Would be good for a pirate or colonization NES.

Unnamed NES Map based on a Norse England and strong Norman Crusader Kingdom based out of Italy time line. This was abandoned because some of the alternate history is questionable and it is similar to Arcadia. Nonetheless it might be fixable or give ideas to someone else.
Spoiler :

Well on Dachs map, if you really want to be nitpicky you could complain that the Panama canal is invisible

Things too small to be shown at that scale, unsurprisingly, aren't shown. The Bosphorus doesn't get time either, even at river size. I didn't make the original, though; Symphony D. did.

Spoiler :
Seems similar to the Knut the Great map that led to TNES I...superficially, anyway. Same original premise, kinda same northern Europe, breaks down rapidly elsewhere.

Bombshoo, I happen to own that atlas; good choice. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find the other books in the series...
