Rather frustrating, tbh. How do I get around it and still keep adblock on?

Personally, I disable Adblock on a few sites I'm happy to visit, as they support themselves with adverts.

That's incredible... I never would have thought they'd have such a difference.
Except suddenly it alllll makes sense.

You've been told before, probably like seven times.
We even had graphs to that end.
Maybe you were to busy to shout at strawmen ("The world doesn't owe anybody a girlfriend.") to accuratly process information.

Well, if companies were rational about this sort of thing, there wouldn't be a gender pay gap in the first place. In other words, the lack of pay equality, the lack of women in top positions in companies, and the underemployment of women, minorities etc more generally, all share the same cause.

No.

Take a seat.

And you people better reform yourself if you want to call conservatives "anti-science", (which i would very much like to continue to do - and you guys are not helping with that).

Yo Mise, apparently I've been told before, probably seven times.

No, Mise, take a seat. Conservatives won't understand they are anti-science until you do.

Feeling a bit smarmy today?

My point was more about, you know, the benefits of not being a hypocrit, rather than any direct causal connection.

I was okay with being told six times but the seventh really was the last straw man.

I'm not actually understanding Metatron's complaint, here. How are "women think that most men are about as attractive as a compost heap" and "the world doesn't owe you a girlfriend" contradictory claims?

It doesn't.
That's the point.

I figure if someone is going to get angry at me and expect me to mind read or play guessing games, they can play without me. I have no idea what metatron is on about. Terx had the courtesy of asking what I meant. metatron imagined his own meaning and subsequently took offense. He proceeded to allude to his own private train of thought and cryptically reference an awfully specific number of conversations as if somehow I should know.

And then accuses me and Mise (I think?) of strawmanning.

Oh!, also, re:

Spoiler :

Female-Messaging-Curve.png

Interesting, but those are both still curves, just different curves? Nothing here indicates that one gender tends to think in terms of straight percentiles, the other in terms of a bell curve.

You did not have the courtesy to answer me, though. At first I thought it was just supposed to explain a rather casual social observation of yours. Now I think it may have a political dimension.
Here is my current guess: That women are so relatively picky about the attractiveness of men motivates men to want to subdue women or something like that?

One of those is a bell curve, the other is distinctly not.
