The World's Ugliest Buildings

Not a good color.

I hate Brutalist Styles - The Trellick Tower, London
Spoiler :

The Golden Mile Complex - Possibly Singapore's ugliest building and the closest thing to a slum.

Spoiler :

The Scottish Parliament. They were definitely drunk when they picked this design. Its a travesty to the Scottish landscape

I was going to post this - it is so dreadful and ugly. That archetecture has no history in the west.

I also dislike skyscrapers they all look the same no matter what city your in so you can't tell differant cultures apart from their buildings anymore. Another step to world government...

I think 50% of the buildings in this thread are actually quite pretty.

There are an enormous number of buildings that are far uglier than the ones in this thread.

Post them then. :)

Ugly past, ugly appearance (yes, I know it was meant to be that way).

Bar a few notable exceptions, communists are appallingly bad at architecture.

I like some of the buildings in this thread, especially some in the OP. I think the Boston City Hall is the ugliest one, and I've seen it way too much. This is Uris Hall at Cornell. I have to see it everyday. It was supposed to be the color of the Statue of Liberty but ended up rust colored.

I know you're not supposed to post obscene pictures on CFC, but hopefully this will pass:

Bright day
How can you hate Gherkin? It is a clean design, not too busy and has great internal structure.

Personally a lot of the building posted are not ugly. But that Scottish parliament and some of Gehry works make me nauseous physically, way too busy.
