Think Rand Paul is an intellectual lightweight?

Define "Wishing for someone's death." I'd agree that looking forward to it with glee and dancing is wrong in any case. But to say that it was right that a serial killer died for his crimes is not the same thing as hoping a political figure gets assassinated as Traitorfish (To be fair, he was probably joking) seemed too.

Have you ever wished for the death of an abortion doctor?

Without a doubt, and its wrong. The correct response for such things is to wish for their repentance, rejection of their crimes, and to hope that the state will eventually actually make their crimes legally recognized as crimes.

Libertarianism and anarchism, properly understood, are one and the same.

Do you suggest that Libertarians who are not anarchist are not Libertarian?

Libertarians want less government, anarchists want none.

As stated, there's a difference between affirmation that a serial killer getting the ultimate penalty is simple justice for his crimes, and actually looking forward to death with glee, though its very easy to combine the two cases, wish for the death of a serial killer with glee, and thus fall into a vengeance mentality, which I can't justify Biblically, even though I often really want to do it.

It wouldn't matter if you could justify Biblically, as it was one of the main things that Jesus was pretty strongly against.

Which is of course why don't want to execute/wish death on those women who have abortions, Dommy.

Who dommy? I don't understand. I am very ignorant.

I know what you're getting at, and don't actually disagree per say, but when exactly does he say this exact thing?

No. They are libertarian. However, they are also wrong. Libertarian ideals cannot be achieved through the state.

OK fair enough. I don't 100% agree though, Thomas Jefferson came pretty darn close, at least for his day, as would the US constitution if we actually followed it.

Modern day states are not properly chained, that's the problem. Either way, we're on the same side, since you need a small state before you can get to no state (Unless you want to use violence, and I don't think that works.)

I don't. I wan their actions to be made a capital offense when committed after such law is passed. I do not wish for them to die at all. I want them to repent, and for their actions to be legally a capital offense. As for after my law was passed, the same applies as I said above. Solemnly acknowledging that a murderer is receiving the just punishment for his crimes is not the same as joyfully anticipating it.

Me. I changed my name several months ago.

It's a joke. Like on Top Gear.

Fair enough. I had myself making a similar joke about Mitt Romney, and getting rebuked for it, in real life in my head when I posted that.

Guys... I'm not perfect. I did something very wrong, and for once, I actually deserved a ban for what I did. That I did it does not make it OK. You should know, however, that it was more an "I'm ticked at you" post than actually serious.

"Putting the past behind, and running the race with perseverance.." move along.

Well, I don't know any citations, but since we both know what I'm getting at, that's fine by me.
