That show is worth a full gamut watch, imo.

TIL the derby matches between Los Angeles FC and L.A. Galaxy are being called "El Tráfico."

Actually manby of them do find the term "Native Americans" as offensive, i know of one guy in person who is proud to call himself an Indian.(I'm think he's Iroquois but i'm not sure)He always went on a rant when people used the term "Native American"(usually along the lines of "It's the f-in stupidest term ever made).
I was reading a NYer article today and wondered how blacks feel about the expression "people of color", to me it's annoying and vague (are Chinese people of color? Hispanics of 100% European origin?) Probably some poll somewhere about what they prefer.

TIL - In the UK there are more statues of goats than there are of non-mythological women.

Didn't the Rolling Stones have an album with a goat's head on the cover?

...how many statues of goats are there in the UK (must be at least 1), and for what purpose?
Sorry, the reporting is so bad no-ones says. According to the national trust, in total, there are 925 public statues in the UK. 158 of these are women, and of these only 25 are non-mythical, non-royal women. So I guess it must be more than that. I would be surprised if there are not quite a few regimental mascots and stuff.

That goats were seen by christian culture more as bad, demonic, judas, lust
And sheep as good, the ram honorable
Quite a clash with the Viking culture where the goat was good.

Is there a statue of the three billy goats gruff?

Goats are tied to Pan, so Satan/lust etc.
The ram supposedly is a useful animal, which helps keep the herd in place. Eg even the cyclops Polyphemos respected his ram (and yet Odysseus hid underneath it).

Yes
Also: goats turn out to be good leaders for sheep !
You can even use them as judas-goat to bring a flock of sheep to anywhere you want.

What I understand why the ram was seen as honorable, to be respected, was the stubborn determination of a ram. Seen as a masculine value.
A goat is more easygoing and that was considered as weak

First it was non-mytholgical women, now it's non-mythological and non-royal women. Looks like someone is moving the goat posts.

Uhm...I don't want to go full SJW, but maybe there should be another name for that...

Ohhhh
I have no awareness how what I said could be offending
So sorry if so... and better forget it :)

It's a pretty old animal husbandry term.

I'm not grokking. Other than it was originated using religious language by people likely of that religion, how is it offensive?

Not offensive, just weird.
Also, maybe the people who wrote the Bible had ulterior motives when they named that chatacter Judas. Whn I publish my edition I'll change the name to Gerhard, after Gerhard Schröder.
