Can't beat the village in Austria named "F-Word".

I already knew about F******, Austria but TIL that in 2012 there was a false rumor that the town voted to change its name to Fugging. A lot of news sources, like this one, reported it as if it were fact.

Apparently there is a sign in German underneath on of the signs of the name of the town trying to people to slow down while driving that says "Please, not so fast." Which makes it quite funny when it's in the English, plus the sign also has two children, so it can be taken so wrongly. There is also Ober and Unter with that word for regions in Austria.

A 2" by 4" piece of lumber is actually 1.5" by 3.5" ( " = inches ) instead of 2" by 4" that one would assume from the name.
