NY? Boston? Uhm... I mean the city east of DC... Dont have access to the save... Wait... screenies...rddc05 said:Aha! I think we have a gap in communication. You must be thinking of Boston, with Hills/Iron/Stone. New York is not suited to ramping up hammers, for sure.
As for building The GL in Boston? I would rather have it in our GP city and I suppose it is not settled yet where our GP city will be (ie. where we build the National Epic).
Yes, Great Prophets are valuable (and Spiral would add still more Great Prophet points), but the idea is to ramp up the points as quickly as possible because the earlier your Great People come, the more value they have AND the more you get over the course of the game. This is the point of a GP farm->GP early and often. In the end, I think we will be OK either way, but something to think about.
Good your back and we are back in business.Burglar said:Thx for your patience...
I have done my 10 turns.
- moved military units -> Chicago
- built some roads to connect cities and in order to move units faster in case of war
- switched to OR @ (680) : was worth it since most of our cities are producing buildings and I am
building the Great Library in Washington. We need missionaries, too.
- traded CoL vs Calendar + 70 Gold with Sal (we needed Gold for 100% science rate)
- Victoria switched to Vassalage and Serfdom @ 740
- Sal also switched to Vassalage and Serfdom @ 760
- researched Music THIS year so I changed to Drama, but we may consider something else this turn.
- Montezuma declared War on Caesar in 780.
Bad News: We had an English Revolution in Chicago in 720. Our citizens calmed down though, but we need to keep an eye on that. I went for culture there and I think a missionary to spread confuciasm may help.
