I mean different terms for similar types of soldiers. For example calling musket men say "red coats". I may not be a expert but I'm sure some people here know the correct terms.

That's more of a slang term though isn't it?

In my non expert opinion I think there are probably a few different military terms in the English dictionary that differ from American.

I meant I already gave them english names. Because they are easy to find.
Hence I did not request help for the English / American.
