"Translators" needed

Steph where can I find those wwii armies? Some of wyrms units perhaps?

Erm, Steve... That is not a WW1 Tank. That is an Armored Car.
Well, it's not a problem, my name isn't Steve either.

I have no WWI russian tank, so I have unilateraly decided that they'll use an armored car instead.

@Yoda: Donwload my mod and alpha test it to get the unit

Spoiler :
By guessing it comes from Wyrm, as he made perhaps half of the units on this forum, you are not taking a great risk, are you?

I will do one group a day, okay? :)

Ancient army - Rat' (Drujina might work as well as a group of Knyaz's bodyguards)
Medieval army - Voisko (more after-Mongol Invastion Term. Genereally means Army in unmodern context)
17th -18th century army - Armiya/Armija
Napoleonic and 19th century army - Armiya
WWII and later army - Armiya

Ancient settlers - Poselenzy
Medieval - Renaissance settlers - Pereselenzy
18th-19th century settlers - Pereselenzy
Modern settlers - Pereselenzy

Oh T-34 is "/85" not "/58"
JS-3 is better than Joseph Stalin as well as
BT is better than "Bystrohodniy Tank"
Russians IIRC dont use names for offiical tank names...

Can't think of any names for workers. They are fine the way they are unless you want me to translate the word "worker" for every time period.
Ancient and medieval scout - Sledopyt (""footprint-reader")
16th -18th century explorer - Pervoprohodez ("he-who-steps-(somewhere-)first")
Ancient spy - Soglyadatai ("something about watching others")
Modern spy - Shpion (like in German) or Agent

It would be nice :)

I'll update tomorrow, I have to go to bed now

I have finished testing the Russians in game.

I'll wait a bit before uploading the update, to let some time for the translators.

Otherwise, it will be uploaded partially translated.

I will start working on Italy soon.

Here is a first list of Italian units.

I'd need translation in latin for the ancient units, and then italian.

http://stephane.f.david.free.fr/CivMod/Italy_UnitList.htm

I'll also welcome any feedback and suggestion to improve the list, it's not very easy as we lack unit animations for some part, so I had to mix real units with a few fictive ones.

I have not started added the units in game, I'll do that once the list is OK.

Eccoci - here we are.

My time this weekend will be limited, but I'll start going over the list - immediate thing I notice is Fiat G.55 Centauro as advanced WWII fighter. I believe the far more interesting, and more common plane is the Macchi C.202 Folgore (less than 300 G.55 flew in WWII, and some of those were used by the Germans, while four times that number of C.202 saw action).

Aaand, if you already have a Fiat Cr.32 model you should "promote" it to WWII fighter (yeah, we started with biplanes!!) and use a Nieuport 11 or 17 instead.

EDIT (because Red Baron started an obsession that's still virulent...):
WWI bomber: Caproni Ca.3
Fiat CR.25 had a whooping service record of... 10 planes in active service. Savoia-Marchetti SM.81 would be a more "signature" choice (see below)
Reggian Re.2000: if there has to be a WWII naval fighter (Italy couldn't complete the first carrier before the armistice), use the Reggiane Re.2001, which was the planned one slated to be adapted (OR Serie II)
WWII Naval Dive Bomber: I propose you move to this slot the Breda Ba.88 and use in its stead the Breda Ba.65 Nibbio.
WWII Transport: SM.81 is better replaced by Caproni Ca.133
And now I'm off to lunch...

EDIT II: ...but not before mentioning that WWII should see the introduction of an Italian invention: the human torpedo.

Don't forget something: I can work only with the existing units. I won't create any.
