UK CFC Meet up?

Thinking back to meeting in Roman togas etc - how will we recognise each other (for example, to spot Mise I'd be looking for a baby in glasses, kittenOFchaos a shiny skull with horns and flames, and I really don't look like a trimeran  ), and should we call each other by usernames or real names? Or all meet up, introduce ourselves by real name, and then try to guess who's who from the forum? :D
Middle of December (10th onwards) is best for me: after term finishes so I'm not ruining my dissertation but before I go home for the shorter train journey.

K, mid december = 10th/11th or 17th/18th.
I can DO both:D

Mid December is cool for me. Let me know a date and I'll pencil you guys in in my diary!

And lol yes, it was our idea of fun hehehe! Our CFC meetup was rather dull, cos I made him sit in on a meeting before heading back home. We did go for crepes though, yummmm.
Did you go in that crepes place near your uni? I had mushroom crepes from there when I met Nath before, very tasty! Then we went to the natural history museum and looked at ants.

We could wear name tags!

Or maybe not.

We can regonise each other by posting pics beforehand or summin.

Now we're talking business. I could easily do December and do some shopping for X-Mas and then pop the question too!

Well, yeah...you could 'pop the question' in some Eastend pub I suppose on a wet December weekend.

Have you not considered somewhere, just, simply...better? A few possibilities - the top of a major mountain (leave her there if she refuses), whilst sailing a boat (feed her to the sharks), or in some classy health spa (stick her in the furnace)?

I think a raging skeleton in an inferno of flames would be easy to spot.

Alternatively, look at the members photos galley - though that is rarely updated - or in the member photo thread.

Every civfanatic worth his/her salt or simply less ugly than PlutoniumEmpire (not possible) should put their picture up.

Good thoughts Chaos man. I hadn't thought of those. :crazyeye:

Right, I am going to say my preference is defintely the 17th/18th.

Because there's a goth/industrial club night I want to go to on the 16th (Synthetic Culture 3rd fri of every month) with feline-dacat, and that would work out very well. I don't mind if it isn't that weekend, i'd just prefer it to be so:D

I'm still in for whenever you fix it, if I'm about. May I suggest some code words for trying to meet up? If you think someone standing over there is a UK CFCer, simply walk up and say "Nice ass". To which we must reply "No yours is nicer." Then we know why we are both there and we can introduce ourselves. "Hi I'm Sophie 378" or whatever. (This was inspired by 'The Tuxedo' btw :D )

Right, if I see this correctly so far for mid-december...

Probably the 17/18th will be okay...though goth rock, or goth anything is a big turnoff.

Yup! She got free murder... umm... I mean "ham"... too.

Anyway, it seems we have:

Date: Sat 17th / Sun 18th Dec
Place: London
People: Scroll up :p

Now we need to confirm what we're going to do and at what time. This post had it covered, but obviously goth clubs aren't for everyone... :p

Does anyone have any more thoughts on the activity, or is that outline good enough for everyone? It's gonna change throughout the day anyway, so... (not too fussed).

Don't worry, I'll be doing that the night before:D

I might be along, though I won't know until closer to the date, whatever it turns out to be.
Ok, cool:)

Excellent:goodjob:

I don't mind what we do. I'll just turn up and you can lead me somewhere. We should probably avoid going to a club cuz we all have different tastes, but a pub that stays open late would be good. Then people can go to clubs after if they want to.
