So, started out by touring cities & checking advisor screens. All looks to be in order. The only change I make is switch EP to Kublai for demographics visibility.
Hit <enter> and this pops up:
I guess it would be a good idea to chop some trees and hurry the GL along.
Turn 101: Settle Knossos at Rice/Clam site, start WB there.
Turn 102: Spanish-Viking war is over. Sparta Phalanx > Phalanx. Dial research down to 30% so we break even.
Turn 103: Get this event. Luckily, there were still 10g left in the treasury to save the choke point forest.
Lit > Priesthood. Research dialed down again to 20%, as we're out of cash. Athen switches to building GL, one scientist is sent to mine a hill, shaving GL ETA from 25 to 18 turns. Meanwhile, Worker is chopping the forests at the Mongol border. Also noticed that Justinian & Kublai are now willing to trade Math. I pulled the trigger on this trade to make chopping more effective:
Maybe Kublai will build a wonder or two instead of stacks of troops.
Turn 104: Buddhism spreads to Sparta. I find out that the forests 4W of Athens won't contribute anything to GL if chopped, so send another Worker toward Mongol border to chop. Argos starts working Gold, so bump research back up to 30%, making 2gpt.
Turn 105: Priesthood > CoL. Thebes Granary > Barracks. Empire now has 500k people. Great Lighthouse BIDL.
Turn 107: Ragnar seeks enlightenment & switches to Buddhism. Sparta Phalanx > Phalanx.
Turn 108: Pyramids BIDL. Justinian has Monarchy, now researching Feudalism (due in 12).
Turn 109: One of the forests at the Mongol border flips to Mongol control 1 turn before chopping completes.
Turn 110: Ragnar circumnavigates!

Corinth Barracks > Phalanx. Kublai is starting to build up some troops.
Turn 111: Sparta Phalanx > Spearman.
Turn 112: Thebes Barracks > LH. Argos Library > LH. Kublai whipped ToA to completion in Karakorum.
Turn 113: Isabella demands Ivory. I decide OK, just need to cancel in turn 123. CoL in, Confusion in Argos.

And...
Having completed both the wonder & tech goal, I'm handing the game off.
- We have some Workers returning from lumberjack duty near the Mongol border.
- Ragnar is getting frisky again with WHEEOOHRN.
- Also, 3 Swords & 2 Chariots based in Old Sarai have started heading inland, away from our borders. No barb cities that I can see, so not sure what Kublai is up to.
- Monarchy & Calendar are both available from Justinian, Construction is not. (Tech screenie below.) HR & CS 2 for 1 civic switch looks like a winner.
- I piled up some EP vs Kublai, but Justinian has closed the EP gap with us quite a bit, so I'm not sure we'll be able to see Kublai's research if we want to keep tabs on Justinian's. The next player should check that we stay ahead of Justinian on the EP curve at least & try to narrow the gap with Kublai, if possible.
- Justinian is our buddy now, so we should be secure from attack from the west.
- The geopolitical situation is starting to get interesting. We're natural allies with Justinian while Kublai & Isabella make up the Hindu axis. Ragnar ditched the Hindus to join the Buddhist bloc & looks like he's ramping up to attack Isabella again.
Well, that's it. Here's the promised tech screenie:
And a screenie of the two religious blocs:
