With my three core choices losing out prior to the single elimination rounds, I want to pull for either the Indian Medieval Horseman or Pierriere. As they are now paired against one another, I suppose the decision between them will be made for me.

Was holding my breath (represented by not posting), but now the ninja has defeated the Hypaspist I'll break the silence. My money is probably with the Ninja now, he's got the all-round fighting skills to defeat a Mayan Warrior. I'm sure that both would be welcomed by a number of teams at CFC though.

Is there no third place play-off?

Well, I`m interested in both Ninja and Mayan Warrior, so I`m glad they have reached the final.

Consolation Prize
For our runners-up, contestants not appearing on stage, and members of our studio audience I plan on releasing a couple of units in the next week or so. I put them together using pre-existing animations while the tournament was going on. I just need to finish them up. When they're done, I'll start working on the winner of the 2008 Unit Request Tournament hosted by utahjazz7.

Thank you to everyone who participated. I enjoyed hosting the tournament again this summer, and I hope that others enjoyed it too.
