Unit requests thread

I am just trying it again, requesting a railroad-artillery and a soldier with skiers...
 
Just re-requesting if anyone has any desire / plans to make a Filipino Katipunero. I would say riflemen based (animations) but it doesn't really matter.

I need it for a UU for a civ in my Thomas' War mod (though I know lots of other mods including the Philippines so I'm sure it would be used by quite a few people).
 
I was hoping it would be something like the knight, especially a longbowman. the other units dont have enough of a "brittish" feel.

Something like this on a longbowman would be perfect.
 
I think the Bagger_288 is one of the coolest looking machines I've ever seen. I'd like to see that in Civ4 on resources like coal. It'd sure look better than a boring mine animation. ;)

I'd also like to see someting like this, but i think, it would be incredible difficult to create it :(.
 
The ancient great spy looks kind of like a ninja; you could use that and adapt it to some combat animation (say the jaguar). Even unadapted, he still attacks with some martial arts moves. I'm using the unadapted version as an Assassin unit.

Any sample code for that? I tried it and it didn't work.
 
Theres one in Fall from Heaven, pillaged from Colonization. You will need PakBuild to get it from FfH though, as its art assets were compressed.

Well, i spoke without knowing. I adapted the great spy to the jag animations, but it came out strange. The neck was streched, the body was fat, and the pelvis compressed itself:eek::eek:.

Firefox says i misspelled streched, whoever corrects me gets a cookie :deal:.

Or did you mean my assassin unit?
