Thanks for traits clarification... my trick to use traits as massive advantage in the game will not work as well as used too.... good!
But I have another one in the sleeve .... when I turn CTRL R for resource icon some of the icon are not present on the map.... like marble for instance in the middle of attached picture or silver or rabbits...... can we get it back? Peyote is visible.....(I change number of resources on the map to LESS ..... hmm?)

I have more info about the bug with the Valley of the Kings. It was present at the capital of a some smaller Civ, which must have evolved from Barbarians. I removed it using the World Builder but it seems it is not buildable now - it is listed as a building that is auto-built when some requirements are fulfilled. I guess it is auto-built when the first minor civ is about to appear...

I do not use SVN so I would need to wait for the next revision of C2C (I have v27). Any ideas how to change it manually?

I just logged in to report the VotK bug. I built the Pyramids, another civ I haven't met built the Sphinx, and I just got a notice that the VotK was built in a far away land. Should be an impossibility. Looks like others have beat me to the punch on reporting it. ;)

Did you open up the Global View and turn all resources on? You can filter at that level, and sometimes the game "magically" turns some off and you have to manually turn them on again.

Changing the resources to "less" only affect resource distribution during the map creation at the start of the game, not the displayed (or available) resources during gameplay.

@ Koshling:

Somehow the SVN 4315 does not want to take effect even with Viewports enabled?? But its only three changes??

Other question is my map is 60% water and i am having a hard time keeping it from CTDing (which i have never had this problem before, heck i only have 6 civs on the map or so?), i did as you said and switched to viewports, but i cant take unit A from section A, and place in in Section B, just wont happen?? Plus sometimes i use those arrows again and it switches to another town, even if it just above the city like it is supposed to be if i want to view the city advisor?

Now this is interesting. I just loaded my main game with SVN 4316, and did the modifier recalc when prompted. That caused a hang (confirmed, I let it go for 20 mins before finally having to actually restart my comp forcibly, the task manager wasn't killing it for some reason).

That wasn't the only interesting thing. My comp has 8 cores, and so C2C, which is single-threaded, should only have been using 12.5% of the processor. However, the win 8 Task Manager said that it was using something closer to 18-19% of my processor power. Did the recalc get multi-threaded at some point?

At any rate, here's the save.

Like ls612 when doing a mod recalc after loading the game with rev 4316 it does not finish, I let it run for over an hour before killing the task. Usually the modifier recalc only takes a few minutes.
Savegame attached.

Yeah i got the same thing . . .

Sorry to bother you but Koshling, can you help out pls, this is wasting people time alot . . .SO , if not i understand.

I just updated to 4316 this morning and did a Re-Calc it took 10 minutes (fpr recalc) but it completed and Ive played 5 turns since.

Unfortunately, the Missing Expenses are Still Missing. See Screenshot.

SVN (see screenie) with View ports enabled CTD, while processing next turn waiting . . .

EDIT: OK went back with viewports, and it proceeded to next turn, but again it was a pop-up but this time it was a Request for Independence/Vassal of some of my cities . . . SO

@ls612,

This save game is from svn 4297 prior to the Recalc and Missing Expenses Bugs.

I actually have not had a save game or Updated game have the ReCalc freeze. It did take 10 minutes the 1st time I reCalc'd after the 4316 Update.

But the Expenses started as soon as I Updated to SVN 4303. From what I've seen 4303 IS the problem Commit.

Zulu has built Pyramids
India has built Sphinx

... long ago (in current game)

Then all of a sudden:
Valley of the Kings has been built in a far away land
Barbarian golden age has begun!!!

autosavegame turn when this happens attached

OK, I did some more testing earlier today and found that the modifier recalc doesn't actually hang, but it took a grand total of 24 mins and 33 sec, about 9 times what it normally takes! So something is going screwy here.

Also, how does that pic happen, given that my comp has 8 cores? I was unaware of may recalc multi-threading.

Yeah, mine looks about the same, but on the left you can turn on or off which ever you want.
