It's not... its to say it could be outfitted with the kinds of tools and equipment and knowledge of how to repair ships, even if just being carried by them or in port with them.

I guess confusing features looks like bug ;)
 
I know revolutions isn't really supported, but I had an instance in base v41.2 where a rebelling city spawned in insectoids and predatory animals as rebel civs. Killing them off didn't affect their NPC versions though.

This happens when you start on scenario instead of generated map

I think this is the key:
Normally the obsolete unit version would disappear from the Unit Build Screen and only the up to date version would be available to build. This is not the case with Early Fighter/Propeller Fighter, both are available to be build
This happens when there is more than one possible replacement, but you are not yet able to build them all. There are two possible replacements for the Early Fighter.

The 4 screen shots below are indicative and examples of the buildings that I have to Rebuild every time we have a Git update that involves the .dll

The 1st 2 are from turn 371 in this game and is from when Mattca had to do some reverting several days ago.
The 3rd and 4th are from yesterday/today's Git updates. The 3rd happens to be my capital and so far over the course of this game I have had to rebuild these same buildings 2 times that I have documented with screenshots and at least one other previous time before them now. The 1st time there were TXT_KEY_RESTORED_BUILDINGS msgs that would be in the main screen upper middle message area. The TXT_ has not returned the last 2 times.

So the question is why does these particular buildings have to be rebuilt every time there is an Update to the ;dll thru GitHubdesktop for FinalRelease? Even Wonders which is Screenshot 0052 shows have to be rebuilt as well.

And of course doing the Re-Calc that shows up when an update is made devastates my meager Treasury. I opened this game tonight on turn 400 with a Treasury of 1074:gold: and 35 :gold:/turn at 75%Research. After doing The Obligatory Re-Clac it went to MINUS (-)1172 and I had to crank it down to the level in the screen shot to not go bankrupt at EoT.

This situation is starting to get OLD and WORRISOME. What needs to be Fixed to Stop the constant need of the Rebuilding of these buildings in these screen shots? Is it in the xml? Something missing? Is it from the DLL changes not being tested on a real game? What must I do to stop this?

@JosEPh_II, yup, there's definitly an issue with building recalc removing buildings it shouldn't; I'm looking into it now.

Edit: Pretty sure I found the error, error being that it saw all buildings that does not have an obsoletion tech as being obsolete as all players has the tech called NO_TECH the way the code sees it.
My bad, introduced this recalc bug when changing how the game handles building obsoletion.

I had even went into BUG and activated the Hide Replaced Buildings Option to see if that changed anything. It didn't.

Been a while since we updated SVN, and I was thinking, as you use git version, that you might want to have some responsibility about deciding when git is stable enough to send to SVN.
Doesn't have to be often, but when it's been a while you may evaluate it as you see fit, and give a shout-out somewhere when SVN should be updated.

having another issue with criminal/hoodlum units??? u fixed the Highwaymem to capture units/cannons, yeah, but now the Outlaw cant, (next upgrade_?? next upgrade is the Mobster car??? havent gotten that far yet, just info ..

btw i call them "hostages" remember Patty Hearst, she worked for them (Symbionese liberation army) until she was caught .. so it still happens. . what do they call it, some kind of syndrome. . .

They should be able to so if someone wants to adjust their XML for now, cool.

Wow, I have updated to 11306 and now I'm getting a message, that I've completed Valley of The Kings and I can choose a free technology every turn. I did complete it, but it was a while ago. I'm in Galactic era now.

UPD. Also, now I can buld Naval Shipping Warehouse, Cruise Ship Port, Fire Dock and Remote Naval Trainig Center in cities, that are not adjacent to water tiles. I think something is wrong here.

It happened the first turn after I recalculated. I can upload the closest autosave before or a save right after it happened
