No autolog here... which is probably a good thing.

I forgot to take pictures, but here's one from 1880 AD:
Pre-Turn
Upgrade another infantry in the west. I doubt that Hatty will attack amphibiously, but if she did she could easily raze a city.
Cities are uninteresting during anarchy. Press enter.
1862 AD
Hatty drops off her forces, we respond by killing two of her cavalry. All cities are safe.
Battle for Alexandria. Send in a CR1 cannon. He wins at 10.7% odds. Did I mention this stack is under the able leadership of General Armstrong?

Only two rifles left, so I send in the Cossacks. We lose one at 80% odds.
1864 AD
Moscow starts on Mt. Rushmore.
Set research to Combustion - our tanks will be thirsty.
Hatty pillages and bombards, but doesn't attack. We obliterate her remaining cavalry and cannons in the west.
Battle for Pi-Rameses. Hatty has a Drill II machine gun, ugh. Send in a CR1 suicide cannon. He wins at 0.7%!

City is captured for the cost of one cannon.
Pillage lots of land with Cossacks with spare moves.
Switch Kagoshima to a galleon to help finish off Hatty.
1866 AD
Three giant stacks are converging on Thebes, after which point they can split up again to finish off the rest of Hatty's cities on her peninsula. Cossacks are staying back a bit, burning the land while the slow troops advance.
1868 AD
Fred has infantry now...
Hatty is shelling Ainu with her destroyer - she has no troops anywhere near it... hopefully that destroyer will stay put so we can sneak our galleon out to Hatty's island.
Some pillaging, some renaming of units, built some railroads... we're moving as fast as we can, but it's taking a while to march to Thebes.
1870 AD
A german revolt in Osaka. It's where Bobrath is stationed... hmm...
Kagoshima finishes it's Galleon and the Galleon races east and full sail.
Zhang Qian, a great merchant, is born in Beijing. Together with the scientist Gauss they start a golden age.
1872 AD
Thebes is bombarded. Hatty has a number of CD2 rifles, so send in two suicide cannons. First withdraws, doing good damage. Second dies. Combat odds aren't good because one stack was hit with a cannon and the other has to cross a river, so I send a third one in - the CR3 cannon, who had won earlier at 0.7% odds. He has good odds here, 68%, but dies...
Armstrong captures the city. GreyFox also got a little piece of the action (he actually had better odds than any of the Cossacks/Infantry!)
Thebes is captured and not razed - our forces are getting injured and some need a place to rest / upgrade. Also, it's a chokepoint to prevent Germany from settling the peninsula (if we close borders) and if need be it can make another galleon for Hatty's island city.
Combustion comes in, we have plenty of oil.
1874 AD
Fred sent out a settler with 3 rifles to settle an island city too. Ugh. This one we can land troops at, though, and it's right next door to Hatty's island, so it's not that bad.
1876 AD
Hatty founds a new city near the ruins of Pi-Rameses. Our reinforcements heading to the frontlines can take it next turn.
Hieraconpolis is lightly defended and only has 40% cultural defense. Our forward stack of Cossacks attacks it - we can afford to lose some as Beijing's production is now greater than the entire production of the German empire.
Well, actually, my ridiculous luck in low probability situations continues, and we win with no losses (one Cossack withdrew.) I should have sent the Cossacks forward earlier, Hatty could be dead by now.
1878 AD
Physics comes in. Research set to Electricity for Industrialism.
Mount Rushmore is complete in Moscow.
Asyut, Hatty's new city, is razed. Suicide cannon wins at 26% odds!
Send GreyFox, now an infantry, south. He has the very important task of taking out Hatty's island city. It's going to be an amphibious assault with no chance to knock down the culture, so we need someone up to the task.
1880 AD
Ouch. Byblos is going to be brutal. Hatty's got two machine guns, and we don't have enough cannons to suicide one. A cossack wins at 10%, though, so it's not that bad. Actually, two more cossacks withdraw, so we end up only losing one in the fight. Hatty must be tearing her hair out!
Some notes:
That was some great luck. I was winning fights at <20% odds left and right.
There's a galleon almost to Tours. Two pinch infantry are in the area, along with GreyFox. Hatty only has a Gren in the city right now. There are two caravels around the city right now. We should probably send those out to see if the destroyer is around (and if so, distract it.)
Both of Hatty's mainland cities should fall in the next two turns. It will take about 4 more after that for the galleon to reach and be loaded/unloaded.
Towards then end I started building infrastructure (mostly factories & coal plants) - the amount of units we were producing in the golden age was just too much - I didn't know what to do with 'em.
Research is at 0%. Next turn we can turn it up to 100% to get Electricity. I like doing the "binary research" thing in games like this because it means you always have cash on hand to upgrade troops.
I put some hammers on a Palace in Nara.
