Looks great. How does it move? Do the feet on the sides of the catapult animate and the whole thing sort of waddles or does it have wheels tucked away somewhere?

Aaglo, simply amazing stuff again. Level of detail is quite simply insane. I assume the preview isn't at civ-scale, though.

According to the pictures I've seen, yes . What did they use to look like then (I assume because of your question that they looked different)?

I'm not sure how it is supposed to move, but I was planning on making it walk

No, it definitely is not

They used to look like tiny little catapults, much smaller than the current beast. You can find pics by searching on ebay for "screaming skull". I think the new version is brilliant-looking, although it's a bit of a shame that a model that used to cost £6 now costs £20, as improved as it is! It's as bad as the goblin doom divers, I bought mine for £3 a decade ago, now it's £15...

The Catapult looks awesome, aaglo. I can't wait to see animation on this!

I like the idea of the catapult's built-in beasts moving it, too. Seems to make sense than an army full of reanimated soldiers and mystically animated monsters would have catapults that can waddle themselves around on the battlefield.

That would be the sort of cool thing I'd expect to see in a movie. aaglo should do 3D modelling in movies!

anyway, here's a size comparison between the screaming skull catapult, c3c trebuchet and ptw catapult. I believe the size is quite ok (since the screaming skull is quite largeish thing).

What does it fire BTW? Skulls? Does it fire them one at a time or in volleys? Do the skulls scream?

Well, this catapult fires one skull at a time, which screams and bursts into flames when it flies.
