We Need an Atheist Symbol!

I have seen plenty of examples in this forum. Namely atheists boldy and arrogantly rub their belief that there is no God in my face by saying "There is no God". Every time that I state that I believe in God, an atheist is not to far to arrogantly say "Hey, there is no such thing as God". Whatever happened to respecting other people's faith even if they believe in a flying pink elephant?

For the record, making generalizations about groups of people over an internet forum is poor judgement.

First of all, I am strictly a Catholic. Secondly, I don't boldly nor arrogantly tell you that there is a God. Unlike atheists that I know who boldly and arrogantly tell a religious poster/person that there is no God.

Don't go boldy telling a religious person that there is no God, you have the right to have that believe but DONT go boldy telling a religious person that there is no God because to a religious person, THERE IS GOD!! And you wonder why atheists are the most distrusted minority in the US .

And seriously, I honestly don't care what you say, so long as you're consistent. You say stuff like what I quoted and then say, "I'm not one of those intolerant, godless atheists." That's what bothers me, and I'm sure others too, the hypocrisy and double standards.

That and the serious attitude conveyed by an overabundance of . It's hard to command respect from other posters when your standard response to their arguments is "Sorry, godless atheist, *repeat assertion* "
