I have pyjamas, but don't wear them anymore cuz they were too thin, and I shift positions constantly, making the bottom half of the top wind up on my back, so I just went "screw it" and went with t-shirt and shorts, and been doing that since then.

I was surprised by the number of street clothes votes. I only did that once as a kid where I was extremely tired and fell asleep in my blue jeans. Sleeping in jeans is not comfortable by any standard.

Sleeping in clothes just isn't right.

My friends and I sleep in what we're wearing when we go camping. We find it perfectly comfortable.

I did that a few times in college, and occasionally do that if I take a nap in the middle of the day.

But sweatpants are much more comfortable.

in pajamas when its possible, underwear when sleeping at somebodys place

you get used to your legs rubbing together. I know it seems like you won't, but you will. I sometimes put the sheet in between my legs if it's bothering me. A long time ago when I tried sleeping naked, I didn't like the sensation of how my penis rested on my leg when laying sideways, but I eventually got used to that.

It's pretty cold at night, record temperature or not, so I sleep with multiple layers on.

I have several different ways:

Summer: Underwear only (or if I'm being adventurous, nekkid)
Winter: Pajama pants and an old raggedy t-shirt I use as pajamas
If I'm sleeping over: Whatever I wore to that person's house (though I don't really sleep over places anymore, so I guess I could nix this)

Usually PJ's and no shirt.
