On really cold nights (which we hardy types in Melbourne actually get) I simply pile on blankets (the normal, non-lame ones) and wrap myself up in double jackets and an ushunka. Heaters, electric blankets, buh! who needs them?

Boxers. Occasionally naked if the heat is making me feel really uncomfortable. I also need either a blanket or a sheet over me otherwise it doesn't feel right and I can't get to sleep. If it's a cold night, rather than putting a shirt on, I just pile on the blankets.

Normally what I wear during the day. If it is really hot I only ever wear underpants, but since my room has Air conditioning, I use that to get to sleep if the conditions are uncomfortable, so I turn it on to cool me and the room down.

I recently started wearing actual pajamas. In the winter, my apartment actually gets kind of cold, so having flannel pants is a big advantage.
When it warms up, or when I have company, it's usually just gym shorts or nothing.

I normally sleep naked unless it is very cold.
Many years ago I was living in a static caravan (trailer) and the only heating was a propane gas fire which I did not leave on when sleeping and a small electric fire which was not enough to keep it warm in the middle of the winter. So before I went to bed I put my coat on. The shower in the morning was slightly invigorating as well, unless the water froze completely.
