What do you think about Poland?

Before I frequented this site, I would have thought that Poland were just some other unimportant Eastern European country. I was right, but thanks to my experience on this forum, I have decided to forever avoid Poland and those other disgraceful Eastern European hell-holes. It's hard for me to stomach that Europe once held the same nationalism, jingoism, and general confoundedness that Eastern Europe has now.

Whenever there's been fighting in Europe the Poles have gotten the short end of the stick.

Also Poland-Liethuania. But considering that 70 % of the combined territory was Liethuanian before the merge, and the Poles got said merge due to a personal union rather than conquest, makes it more an association with Liethuania than Poland in my mind.

Yeah, and the similarities with America don't end there!

When I think of Poland, I think of the letter P. I think of women wearing handkerchiefs on their heads. I think of Solidarity. I think of sausages.

Also, I think Poland has produced no major black metal or death metal bands of note.

Solidarity with a capital S maybe but not a small one, we were on strike last week and a Polish girl in my wife's work is a scab (I realise this says nothing about how many Poles are scabs, its just somethign that popped into my head).

I have noticed that Polish people Canada are often hyper-conservative. Those that came in the last 25-30 years anyway. I figured it was a self-selection process.
Especially those from the academic bourgeoisie have a tendency to be professional victims.

This is starting to wear a bit thin now.
I think we have a reasonable claim to ask for something a bit less predictable.

Also Poland-Liethuania.
Untrue.

Not really..

Lithuania was a depopulated forest at the time of personal union. Poland had some population of over 15 M while Lithuania probably not much more than 600 thousand Lithuanians, and around 1 M Ruthenians/Belarussians/Balts/other random minorities.

After the Union, Poland colonized Lithuania and turned it's areas industrial and modernized them. It caused cities like Minsk, Vilnius, Brest, Kaunas, Lwow etc. to become important.

To say it was mostly Lithuania is a joke.

Also, you obviously need research a war other than WWII. ;)

Historically declined.

Yeah, Poles actually usually work hard to earn money...

An excessively religious country.

When I think of superpower, it usually means power beyond one region or continent.

Most Poles are insane and suffer from delusions because Poland was never a superpower.

You can't really talk about superpowers before the 20th century.

Most Poles are also homos, which explains several things.

Think about it.

They didn't need that Missle shield anyways, if America did build it Poland would've been too much of a sateiliette of NATO, so better it was not built and people can secretly make fun of that joke of an alliance NATO, lol. Oh but still get the benefits from being "loyal members"

Polish guys are hot..

I love Poland. Its far too good for the Poles. Women excepted.
There is no such thing as a Polish woman, I seen like 10 Polish guys but no Polish girls.....
