What do you think of Japan?

Very mixed. Their arts, so far as I've seen, range from not very good to awful (anine). They are good technicians. Their culture has both good and bad aspects.

Some anime and manga is cool, not all. Tech is cool also. As a dude of Chinese descent, I feel they have yet to truly apologize for their crimes during WWII towards all parties including and not limited to, East Asians, Southeast Asians, South Asians, Pacific Islanders, Americans, Australians and so on. Especially when you have relatively large right-wing groups continue to deny the atrocities. Oh yeah, you guys churn out some sick stuff.

I could definitely see myself in a Japanese car, if it was a Nissan Skyline or something. Some of their technology is pretty cool, but other than that, meh.

I hear Japan is a strange place. Everyone's indirect about everything, their work ethic values method over results, they seem to be on the opposite end of the end of the sexual prudeness scale of the US (of first world nations), and for such a small nation the seem to produce a lot of technology.

Manga and anime aren't what I judge japan by as I don't look at them.

Good job on them for not clearing all the forests though. Something like 40% of Japan is still natural forests IIRC.
