[RD] What does free speech mean?

NAMBLA was a joke on South Park and had no widespread support. I think it was a weirdo with a PO box IRL.

You know, doing some research before speaking would help you in your arguments.
You still didn't answer if you think Nazi white Supremacy is something decent places would allow.

Indeed. Look at all the nazi scum scientists the West and Soviets tamed after WW2.

What are you going to do, kill 8 million ex Nazis. Intern them indefinately. The NKVD and Stasi couldn't wipe them out. And they had the old bullet in back of head option.

You can deradicalize them. Can't do that if you can't identify them.

Because Nazis openly make sure they can be identified and approached for deradicalization. Guess what deradicalizations them the most? Hearing how pathetic and wrong their worldviews are on platforms that expose them to alternate views, not some random moderate visiting their spaces and, being nice to them.

People don't respond well to being told they're wrong. Do you like it when religious types come knocking on your door wanting to lecture you about God?

Right wing groups seem to have retention problems. I suppose some people flirt with them and drop out.

The ones that have left and given interviews seem to express some amount of shame, regret, guilt etc. That's something they have to work out and process.

Others just start socialising with Jews, liberals, African Americans, Hispanics etc.

We won, that's what matters.

So do you support what the ADL does? Would you say they are in service of free speech or censorship?

I support the ADL and SPLC as long as they do it non violently. One if the links I provided in one of my old threads detailed how the SPLC was having a harder time monitoring the Nazis due to deplatforming.

At least when it was out in the open as such you knew who the leaders were. In an ideal world yeah sure no Nazis around would be nice. Failing that I would like to know who they are and where they are.

As much as I enjoy having it implied I support pedophilia I has to go to bed, my insomnia only carries me so far. Have fun ripping on each other for the next 10 hours.

Yes.

The victorious powers could have easily liquidated them. But they had "certain skills" that were desired.
So we made a deal with darkness. Allowing the waffen-cancer to survive into the new post-war world.

I never implied that @Zardnaar, I said that bigotry is equally as bad and yet you have no desire to actively curb it in the same way, even when it's harmful to society as a whole.

Why can't you extend the same logic to bigotry?

Incredible.. maybe mildly on a few issues?

Nothing more pathetic than a video game hero with no monster to slay.

So now that you know that there is a political ideology that supports pedophilia, I hope you stay consistent in your views.

<looks around at age of consent laws> Yeah, Europeans are sort of special. Huh...

I don't follow. Is your argument that people who argue though public discourse that age of consent laws should be changed are appropriate targets of legal silencing?

I mean, that would be sort of understandable if wrong. Like the people who look at US states that allow young marriages and provide judicial remedies to override a parental "no," then conclude that these laws somehow limit the freedoms and sacredness of the humanity of the young.

It isn't "their valuable skills" that keep civilized people from embracing "hey, let's just liquidate eight million people."

Eight million? Sure. Rocket scientists? Sounds like the building blocks of a space program.

Valuable skills keep you from being trash or some other word. Valuable skills change the rules of the game. HR will reject a warehouse tech application with a 20 year old DUI. It'll hire the "difficult to source" lawyer that ran over a kid. Snore worthy level observation. You'll note how much conversation in society actually goes into identifying the personal merit, however defined, of who as a precursor to the investment of skill. Absolutely hilarious when you extrapolate the conversation out to paying for education/retraining/altering infrastructure or "granting visas to skilled professionals." Awful lot of society explained in that little blip of an issue.

As someone who served at "the tip of the spear" for liquidating a hundred million or so "if necessary" I can tell you straight out that if you created the people you would need to operate an eight million person liquidation program and actually did it you wouldn't know what to do with those operators afterwords. Heck, there are plenty of people who question the wisdom of having me and my scars around.

I am not sure an organization that defines anti-Zionism as a form of prejudice is a good choice for this point.

It's a valuable skill up until it isn't.

The point was more supposed to be that yes, killing a couple dozen couple hundred or even a couple thousand guards is public catharsis(let's be very generous). Killing 6 million is work. Killing the scientists would have been more in keeping with approachability and principle, but no, for them the rules are always fundamentally different. Up until it isn't "valuable."
