B.S. in both Biology and Environmental Science

I actually do have a G.E.D. :) And a BA in economics. And some grad school. Though I doubt I'll ever get a degree out of that.

For anyone who cares:
I am studying "Staatswissenschaften", which I get translated as political science. But that is at least at my university a useless translation, as - as a rule - in the first two semesters actual political science occupies not more than 1/6 of the whole course and after that you can drop it.
The literal translation is "Science of the State", but while at least ambiguous instead of totally false, this is still misleading.
My own ugly but useful translation shall be: "Sciences of matters that concern key aspects of state and society as a whole".

I am still in the first semester, but I already broke up two other study paths and because of this experience I am confident to say there won't be a third time (that sound a little funny, but on second thought still plausible I think). It is all in all fairly awesome. I am right now inclined to aim for an academic career in the field of social sciences with emphasize on political science and economics as a minor, but I also didn't yet dismiss the possibility of focusing on economics with law as a minor.

Oh and I am 22

Graduated in the spring, B.Sc Environmental Science and B.A Urban Planning. I haven't ruled out the idea of a Master's (probably in Environmental something or other) but I went with 'not going any further' because it's more correct than the alternative.

And you're in Boston? Where, if I might ask? (PM if you want)

PM sent. I'd try to guess your school if there weren't so many colleges around here offering economics degrees. :)

First-year going for a BS in chemical engineering. :D

Welcome to the club! Any idea what you want to do with the degree? Or did you sign up because we totally have more chicks than the electrical engineering department does?

As it turns out, chemical engineering is one of the broadest fields of study (in engineering, at least), so it lets you avoid getting stuck doing something you hate. Of course, there's a lot of work you gotta do to get there. :)

Almost a Bachelor in Economics (from an university of applied sciences) after which I'll pursue a BA in History to be followed by a MA in History and/or a MSc in either Public Administration or Business Administration

right... I'm 21 22 :mischief:

I think this is the only thread where you can legally talk about BS :mischief:

 Yeah, I always feel like I'm being vaguely redundant when I say I have a BS in Political Science. :cringe:

Just finished my first year of a BInSt, hopefully being able to transfer into BInSt/LLB next year (I easily meet all the requirements apart from some fine print about gap years, which means my path becomes entirely arbitrarily determined ).

I don't get the fascinations with everything being a BA or BS. Not really descriptive.

Everyone's education level goes quite beyond school (thankfully).
