Proficient? Only English -- though I can get by in French okay if I have to.

I wanted to learn Yup'ik at our local community college, but the instructor moved away. Would also like to learn a little Sugpiaq and Eyak.

Dutch, English and German.

Proficient:
Assyrian - an Aramaic language (Same language spoken by Jesus in movie: "Passion of the Christ")

English

Basic:
Arabic & French

fluent German (duh!), English and Spanish. Had three years of French in school, I might be able to say "bonjour" with a gun to my head.... wouldn't bet my life on it, though

Yeah, strange- it seems the top 10 options picked are:

1.Other (43)
2.Only English (42)
3.French (30)
4.German (27)
5.Spanish (22)
6.Mandarin (19)
7. Japanese (13)
8.(Tie) Arabic and Cantonese (12)
9.(Tie) Russian and Italian (11)
10. Hindustani (9)

And Interestingly, all other options have either 7 or 8 speakers.

Viva o Brazil! :salute:. Consarn it. Portugese is not in the top ten. I learn Spanish at school, but I am fluent (I know a very similar language after all, portugese). I'm still a bit rusty though. I know at least one word in:

Dutch
French
Swedish
Norweigan
Danish
Chinese
Japanese
Italian
Latin
Ancient Greek
Ancient Egyptian (If you count city names)
German
Russian
Gaelic
Polish

I used to know how to say 'good day' in Afrikaans.

Well, now Portugese is in the Top 10, tied with Russian and Italian, but it wasn't when I made that list.

Well I'm apparantly only proficiant in English, but I know enough of French to get by, and a very small amount of Spanish. I hope to become fluent in French in the future.
