I saw Saw 3 yesterday. It was the most gorey of the Saw series. I thought it was pretty good, yet a bit different than the first two.

People are fainting in cinemas all over Britain. It must be good! :D

I saw the first five minutes of Equilibrium, but my dad turned it off because he thought it was rubbish.
Actually, I just watched it, and the first five minutes did give a quite bad impression. But the movie in itself is great. Although it is very similar to Brave New World... a bit too much so perhaps.

I saw Children of men yesterday. I really liked it, I did good dragging you into the alpocalyptic atmosphere of 2027 Brittain in a world where people are unable to procreate anymore.

However I have the feeling they could have gotten more out of it. It has a great premise (protect the only baby left in the world) but they could have worked it out more.

Spoiler :
The scene where they carry the baby outside through the warzone, everybody stops fighting and is just in awe of the crying little human in its mother arms was beautifull

Tonight: The Departed :)

I watched 4, count 'em, 4 movies at school today.

MacBeth - it sucks, but so does the book.
Van Helsing - This actually surprised me and was quite good.
Young Frankenstein - I've seen this before, but it was still hilarious.
Casper - This is the first time I've seen it, and I didn't like it. Of course, it was hard for me to enjoy in Spanish. ;)

 I thought I was gonna faint during it because it was so intense ;) I just hope Middle Eastern terrorists don't see this movie and get new ideas...

I went and saw "A Good Year" last night. Whilst being quite simplistic in its delivery and obvious in its message, the film was nevertheless very enjoyable, with a worthwhile message that we can't be reminded of enough. It also seemed to be quite a personal comment from an aging, mellowing, somewhat lazy Ridley Scott, who lives but 20 miles from where most of the film was shot. He's living the message.

I saw Resan till Melonia last night. A good swedish animated movie. Based on some Shakespearstuff. Teaches you good lessons about what gappens when you give power to the evil capitalists.

i saw the first half of Equilibrium. i thought it was action, turned out to be mostly drama and cat and mouse games. bored the crap outta me.

Yesterday i saw Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2. JC1 was interesting for the first half hour or so, but then deteriorated. JC2 was pathetic from start to end. Its director obviously is not very good with delicate plot-creation, although the first half hour of JC1 had some very intense moments :)

Today i plan to watch the entire Saw series!

Yea, i agree. The first part was very misterious and top quality horror stuff. But from the point where you see the "bad guy" is some cliche demon - guy in a costume it hits the bottom.

Btw, i'm telling Flamand to misspell your name/forget to post your preview in the next competition for that blasphemious post about V for Vendetta. :p

Working my way through the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (as well as reading the books :p ) this past week. About a third of the way through The Two Towers, makes for a nice viewing in bed.
