What other Civs would you like to see added to DoC

Maybe add a pagan european civ like the celts and Natives to show various pagan tribes and cultures. Things like the Slavs and Lithuanians and the Sami, or even the germanic tribes in the migration era could be represented by this civ.

Another colored barbs? What's the difference with common ones?

Avar/Bulgar invasions to Byzantium, indy Kiev and Russian/Poland civ.
Lithuanians
Second Polish city.
are they really need to be represented? Northern Eurasia is booooring, but another stack of barbs/indies, even colored ones and named as Chud'/Ushkuj/Nentsy, doesn't make it more interesting. We already have very unhistorical Sibirs.

It would be cool if we get a bigger map, and make european civs get a challenge in the east, also make german and polish invasions of lithuania and the baltics much more intresting.

It would just be part of the pagan european civ i proposed, a city in northern sweden and finnland to stop the vikings from to settle too many northern cities, as those really just appeared in the 1600th-1900th century.

Edit: 16th-19th century.

If that did happen the Danish/Norwegian AI should be made to go west in earnest and the Swedish AI should not only go for Finland and Russia but also northern Germany and Poland.

I’d love it if the Danes settled Jorvik and the English had to kick them off of the island or even settled Vinland early every once in a while...

Gonna take a crack at Australia:

Spawn: 1901AD (contingent on English stability)
Unique Historical Objectives:
-The Lucky Country: Average city happiness of +5 and health of +10 in 2000 AD
-Federation: All of Australia and Tasmania within cultural borders and control one city in Papua New Guinea by 1950 AD
-Silicon Mangrove: First to discover 1 global tech and 1 digital tech

Unique Power:
Power of the Global Economy
+1 trade route in all coastal cities

Unique Unit:
Australian Light Horse
Replaces Cavalry, -25% production cost, +1 movement

Thanks to my Australian friend, Alexander, for helping...

I would like to see Bulgaria on the new and bigger map.

The civilisation would start in 632 AD as Old Great Bulgaria where current Ukraine is. In 681 AD its core would move to the Balkans (similar to Phoenicia and Carthage). The challenges for the kingdom would be:
1. Kill X Barbarian, X Byzantine, X Ottoman and X Mongol units by XXXX AD
2. Possess a heavy cavalry of 20 units by XXXX AD OR Have an average of 2 promotions for your heavy cavalry
3. Conquor Athens, Constantinople and Kiev by XXXX AD

The UU would be the Konnik with an extra movement point on hills/forest
The UB would be Literary School (Chitalishte) which would be an upgraded library giving +5% more culture to represent the spread of the Cyrillic alphabet to Eastern Europe

Last but not least, thanks for the amazing mod! I have spent entire weeks of my life trying to colonise the world as the British or to spread Islam as the Arabs.

The 2nd suggestion of the 2nd UHV is very easily exploited. Just have 1 heavy cavalry unit with 2 promotions and you have it. And the barracks + stable provides enough xp for 2 promotions for newly build cavalry units.

However, combining the 2 UHV you suggested can be quite challenging. Have 20 heavy cavalry units with 4 promotions. I would even drop the average. That requires all units to face combat, instead of 1 super unit that is almost guaranteed to win because of its many promotions. And as you will likely loose some of you promoted units in the progress, it will require more than just build units and fight with them.

Makes sense. That would be an awesome civ for aggressive players to try :)

I do not have a unique power selected yet but historically the empire has changed capitals a lot Phanagoria, Preslav, Pliska, Ohrid, Tarnovo, Sofia. So I was thinking maybe of a cheap Palace or reduced maintenance costs.

Bulgars are never one I thought of, but I love the idea!

I'm hoping once the big map is implemented and the existing civs are fixed up we can have a huge "suggestions" thread.
