Its been interesting reading religious discussions here. I am curious to see what faiths and beliefs the Civ Fanatics OT community has. From my reading here it seems that the majority of users are Atheists with the second largest being Christian. I don't think I have seen any others here. Seems this community is religiously less diverse than many others

Edit: I know I mispelled Atheism in the poll - My bad, no more comments on my poor spelling lol thanks :p.

I'd say that the nature of this site creates a big selection bias towards athiesm/agnosticism.

Discordian Universalist. Obviously.

I ain't no "other", thank you.

(What's an aethist? That's new. Someone who believes in the aether? ;))

What's an ae - Oh, Mr. B beat me to it. Mr. BeatMeToIt.

Atheist (for lack of a better term and it's true enough anyways).

Christian apostate, and I'll claim to be Muslim apostate occasionally if I think it can get a reaction.

Typical of me to make spelling mistakes, silly me

Coo! You're brave! (On the second one.)

Spelling mistakes are considered to be the werk of a hopster, I believe. Don't worry about it. Silly me for pointing it out. I couldn't resist the joke on aether.

Does reconstrucionist (neo)paganism count as neospiritualism or as other? I'm asking because I'm not sure if the reconstrucionist branch of neopaganism may count as new spirituality. Sure we add some modern things, but we try to be as loyal to the ancient path as possible.

Pfft thats a tough one. I have very limited knowledge about neopaganism - but for the sake of the poll I would count it together.

Where is the "none" option?

It's a direct response to the question. Atheism indicates lack of belief in a deity of any sort, which accurately answers the question as to what religion you are.

Except there is such a thing as Religious Atheism and Religions that have no Deity to believe in.

There is no reason a christianity sect couldn't be atheist. Drop the god and keep the bible and everything else. Describing yourself as atheist doesn't say much

Nonreligious.
